I just dont know this name... but I am gonna bet Russell Wilson is no longer and option for the Jets LOL Edited Friday at 06:30 PM by JP51 1 Quote
EasternOHBillsFan Posted Friday at 06:33 PM Posted Friday at 06:33 PM Odd hire indeed. What is the connection here? Hmmm... Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted Friday at 06:47 PM Posted Friday at 06:47 PM Given the Broncos complete failure to solidify the QB position (including passing on Allen and Lamar for Bradly Chubb), I'm not worried about this guy fixing the Jets. Quote

Raiders fans after the Carroll hire have to be praying for those 2 teams to make the move and not them lol 1 Quote

Not sure what the thinking is there... but they certainly are not in a position to draft a top QB and I dont even see any in the draft... 1 Quote
Gregg Posted Friday at 07:08 PM Author Posted Friday at 07:08 PM Maybe he doesn't have the job. The Jets have not informed any GM finalist about whether they have or have not gotten the job yet, according to sources. Doesn't mean they don't know who will ultimately get the job — but there hasn't been an offer yet. — Zack Rosenblatt (@ZackBlatt) January 24, 2025 Quote

That’s what rumors were for why Wilson wanted a trade out of Seattle 1 Quote
Buffalo Barbarian Posted Friday at 07:37 PM Posted Friday at 07:37 PM Johnson is a meddling owner who takes advice from his teenage kids. Good luck to anyone getting that job. Quote
TheFunPolice Posted Friday at 07:39 PM Posted Friday at 07:39 PM Jets and Cowboys are the worst 2 jobs in the league, in whichever order. I guess I'd rather answer to Jerry Jones than some punk teenager who has accomplished zero in life other than having a rich daddy Quote

I don’t think it was specifically the relationship with Pete as to why he wanted out but rather that he felt Seattle wasn’t heading in the direction to facilitate he long term goals. Either way, Russ ain’t it lol 4 minutes ago, That's No Moon said: Why on Earth would you re-sign Russ? Go ahead, feel free, I just don't understand it. No clue. His awareness is atrocious in that pocket now. Most Steeler games I caught he was literally rolling or moving into pressure lol Quote

He was only an area scout then. Likely had zero say. Impressive that he has worked his way up from intern to assistant GM but he has only worked in the Broncos organisation. Which may not be a great thing. 1 Quote
