I don't know why, but I just have a feeling Bishop comes up with an INT this week.  Feels like Mahomes is going to try and exploit him and force some ill-advised pass down field under duress that is off target and Bishop eats.

Rapp has been underrated this season and really his whole career but you can't lose a game with only Taylor Rapp out on defense. I'm glad the staff knew essentially all week that this was going to be the case. I'm sure they have plans ready to go.

Yeah McDermott is talking up Cole as you'd expect - but if they have him playing 20-yards deep like he has been it tells me that his only responsibility is to keep plays in front of him, in which case its like playing with 10.5 guys. 

 

We'll see on alignment how much they really trust him to make actual plays, not just mop up tackles after first downs have been completed.

I fully believe if we get to 30 we for sure win this game.  Can't see the Chiefs offense beating us above 30.

Every week on Monday , someone in the media asks about Micah and every week McDermott tells them No. he is there to help the defense and give tips to guys. My guess is they brought him back to help Hamlin and Bishop and for a pair of eyes to watch tape with and teach things he’s seen

I mean they will have to do their best. No one really takes Kelce away. If they want to try to play man on him, I like Bishop better than Hamlin or Rapp. I can say I am not worried about Hopkins. He is a shell of his former self. 

 

If they double Kelce I worry about the speed guys getting over the top of the defense. You also have to spy Mahomes. So it's a very tough challenge, but it always is.

I remember with this regime when Singletary got hurt his rookie year her was "day-to-day" and we didn't see him for 3 weeks.

 

It has happened multiple times since.

 

Oh, don't get me wrong, I am not jumping on the team one bit.  Especially when it comes to their players' health.

 

It's just the moment they announced he was day to day I promised those around me he just wasn't going to play against the Chiefs so don't get your hopes.

 

I'll go a step further and I hope I am wrong...he will be questionable, even for the Super Bowl.

Bummer. He has his faults but I loved this dude since we got him. He flies around and is going to hurt someone (or himself) or get the ball. 
 

the Chiefs are going to target his replacement (they were probably going to target Rapp to be fair). 
 

that said if Rapp is your biggest injury loss, you are in great shape.

If you had told me in August that we'd get to this point of the season with only 1 starter out - I might have actually thrown a party in celebration.  

 

This is as healthy as we've been. Somehow, once again, KC is even healthier - but I definitely can't complain.

Rapp is very solid.  If he wasn't Bishop would already be on the field.  As the season went on Bishop played better.  I like his athleticism on the field.  Buffalo got abused last year in the playoff because the linebackers and safeties were slow.  Benard, Milano, Williams is a massive upgrade at Backer.  Bishop in the box can run with every back and Te KC has including Kelce.  Rapp is solid but I cant sit here and say his absence changes the outcome.

If the Bills drop another Safety and they win he plays in the Superbowl.  He might anyways.
