I know we are all waiting for it... so.... do they elevate Hyde (JP51 ducks lol...)

Didn't McDermott basically come out and say we won't see Hyde in a uniform?

Yes but of course people will believe what they want to believe

If you had told me in August that we'd get to this point of the season with only 1 starter out - I might have actually thrown a party in celebration.

This is as healthy as we've been. Somehow, once again, KC is even healthier - but I definitely can't complain.

KC has played one meaningful game since Christmas and the previous one wasn’t particularly tough. Is what it is - that’s a huge benefit of the top seed. Bills are in good shape though.

I certainly hope Bishop doesn't get picked on in this game. You know they will be going his way.

Of course he will be targeted - it’s the NFL.

If they play Bishop near the LOS and have him cover flats and crash run plays then maybe you can mask him.

But no way do the Chiefs see a 45.7 coverage grade with him always motioning to other players at the snap and not go after him.

Beane hit almost all the right notes this past off-season.  McGovern and Edwards instead of Morse and McGovern.  Perfect.  Letting White go and starting Benford and Douglas, perfect as well.  Moving on from Davis and Diggs and ultimately replacing with Cooper and Coleman, not a HR on the field, but it was one in the locker-room and helped free Josh and Brady.  The one area that has worried me from Day 1 is safety.  Moving on from Poyer and Hyde was also the right thing to do, but now with Rapp out for the biggest game of the year, my off-season worries are back.

I started this thread back in Sept.

The Off-season gameplan at safety was Rapp plus one of Hamlin, Edwards or Bishop.  Now with the season on the brink our starters are Hamlin and the rookie Bishop.  Andy Reid and Mahomes must be giddy with excitement.

Babich is going to have to find a way to get to Mahomes or Bishop and Hamlin are going to have to play the games of their lives.

I don't love the injury situation but this is going way over the top.

Is it?  Why?  How has our defense done this year when our starters have been out in the secondary?

When Bishop has played 50% or more of the D snaps, the Bills are 3-3, but in one of the wins the Bills D gave up nearly 500 yards in passing to Det.

Man blitz on money downs - If you expect them to carve up the space in front of him in zones, put him in man or have him chase patty.

Yeah - like if there was a real plan for him to be aggressive and do the one thing he's good at - rush 85.7 PFF grade - then yeah I'd be for it.
