mushypeaches Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Smart move for both sides - let Saleh begin to rebuild his reputation after leaving the Clown Show In another 1-2 years, after showing some success, he'll be seen in a new light and start interviewing for HC positions 3 8 Quote
wppete Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Great move for SF. He’s a great DC. Happy he is out if the AFC. 4 2 Quote
Fleezoid Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Will they have to get him a harness, or has he grown out of that? Quote

I have a soft spot for that guy. Seems like it was just a train wreck in NY. 2 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago So, he gets to rehab his image and the 49ers reap 2 more 3rd round picks when someone hires him? Win for both sides. Seriously, I don't think any team has taken advantage of that rule better than San Francisco. Can't be an accident. 1 Quote

AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I didn’t think Salah was quite ready to run his own program, but given it was the Jets, I don’t think Vince Lombardi would be ready for that mess either. Good move returning to his roots. He’ll get another shot as long as the SF defense shows up. 1 Quote

Wilson clearly wasn't ready, but he was far and away their best QB and he needed to be built up and Salah would open pressers and say "Wilson sucked today, otherwise we would have won" Quote

TheFunPolice Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) I'll keep saying it, even though it's unpopular: Saleh is a very good coach. He's a bit of a tool at times, but so is Dan Campbell. It works with players, especially the younger guys. The moron Jets owner is the reason the Jets weren't in the mix for the 7 or even 6 seed later in the season once Rodgers knocked off 2 years of rust. Saleh's defenses were always very good and without him the team fell apart. Edited 4 hours ago by TheFunPolice Quote
H2o Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago As soon as he was let go, I told people he would end up back in SF as the DC. I think this move surprises no one. Quote
