Micah Hyde - Practiced with Jersey & Helmet?

Maybe this is a silly thing, but I don’t recall seeing Hyde with a jersey and helmet in practices until now?

He's had a helmet and jersey at practice this whole time. He's been connected at the hip of Cole Bishop.

 

If he was on the Practice Squad and not on the field in uniform a.) It would have been a talking point b.) The media wouldn't have asked all the times that they have if he would be activated that week and c.) Someone in the media would have pointed out that he hasn't been in uniform and now he is.

 

I'd expect either Taylor Rapp possibly gets a Limited Practice tomorrow or is listed Questionable even with another DNP and pushes himself on Sunday or he's Out, in which case they'd roll with Hamlin and Bishop with Lewis as the Backup and elevate Kareem Jackson, as they have twice already with Hyde on the roster.

 

I'd be shocked if they got him zero on field reps in over a year, less than half the season practicing after coming off the couch, and then activate him in the AFC Championship game.

 

It really kind of amazes me how so many posters have gone from acknowledging how bad we were at Safety last season and that it was time to move on from Hyde to getting high on nostalgic 'member berries and asking about him every week.

 

If he were anywhere close to the Hyde fans remember - he'd have been out there by now and would have been here all year.

It's almost like he's on the practice squad.

He's here for a morale boost and to coach up the rookie. McDermott is not letting him hurt his neck dude. 

 

He's here as a coach basically 

 

Bishop will be fine. He's a great athlete and was drafted high by McDermott/Beane for a reason 

 

This is a super bowl roster with great depth

This is a super bowl roster with great depth 

And Micah is also there to get his ring.  He’s been a terrific soldier and leader, strengthening Bills DNA and helping set the standard for this awesome vibe the Bills have going
