Stuff like this gets ignored on here pretty often because even the hardcore rightoids can’t justify this

Or maybe it's the very disingenuous use of the term "banned" that has most people ignoring it or rolling their eyes.

The DoD removing material from DoD run schools is not a "ban".

It can be overzealous, and downright stupid, but calling it a "ban" especially given the constant undercurrent of Nazi Germany comparisons, is nonsense.

“No, it’s not a ban. We’re just removing it from public consumption for an indeterminate amount of time because we don’t like it.”

The bolded is and always has been a lie.  You can get the materials from a public library or online.

Do you enjoy sounding like an idiot, or is it just an involuntary tic? 😉

I used to think you had a tiny bit of common sense, perhaps I was thinking of someone else…

Do you actually believe that students only source for books and materials in the school?

Still publicly available in many places, including public libraries and amazon.com if anyone would like to read it.

AKA not banned. Keep trying though.

They either don't know or do know and are lying.  Neither is a good look.

Why should a book about a girl’s freckles be banned from schools in the first place?

Read my original response. I don't think it should be removed. It's stupid.

But it ain't banned.

You are such a coward you won't even the name the book, but I appreciate you admitting that giving children porn is important to you.

Okay, let’s try this again.

Please explain why Freckleface Strawberry, a book about a 7-year-old who gets bullied for her appearance, deserves to be banned from schools.

Are you that stunted that you equate that to “porn?”

I am only seeing the author claiming it is banned, when the DOD explains why it is banned I will decide if it is a good reason.

Just sad stuff. Get a grip.

If there's nothing offensive in it, it shouldn't have been removed from the school.   I have no idea what's in the story so I can't comment on that.

But it's not "banned."
