C.Biscuit97 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I really wish they press charges against those absolute losers who are harassing him and his family. I’m so sick of this hide behind a computer screen (as I type this from behind a phone screen!) where you can just be an awful person because you’re anonymous. guarantee Edwards is a lot better at his job than the losers harassing him. It’s a joke he has to deal with this. 54 minutes ago, boyst said: I'd rather donate to troll Kelce and Swift. Anything they support I want the exact opposite. Weird mindset 1 Quote

There are bad apples in every bunch. Tyler Bass has some losers harassing him as well. Luckily the majority of fans arent losers and tried to pick him up. 2 hours ago, MJS said: They donated to Tyler Bass's charity after the Bills lost when he missed the kick last year in the playoffs. And I heard they started this one after it was reported that Andrews was getting death threats for that drop. God, I wish the losers whi said this would have to face consequences or Andews in real life. Too many losers are way too comfortable popping off without accountability now. 1 Quote

asyranok Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago This reminds me of the opposite of a Titans forum experience I had. During the Titans game where they beat the Ravens a few years ago, they started a thread to mock Todd Heap, our previous big Tight End of the 2000's. They made fun of him for backing his SUV over his daughter and killing her. Not one of the Titans fans said... maybe this isn't cool. Then I went to a different Titans forum and saw another similar thread making fun of him. It's not like Heap even had anything to do with that Ravens team... Sociopaths. As a result, Titans fans are the only fan base in the NFL that I can say I hate. Quote

He's gotta truly be feeling awful. As indicated by him skipping the post game presser and taking the fine. That kind of drop can crush a soul. You guys rock. Very few fandoms with that kind of empathy and willingness to reach across the isle. (Also congrats on your win. Beat KC please, for the love of all that is holy. Get voodoo dolls of the refs if you must.) We've all been there in some way shape or form... reach your hand out and pick a brother up when he is down... because someday... we all need help up. 1 Quote

ON THE OTHER HAND...no donation to worthy charitable causes are EVER a bad thing. So even IF it's a little bit passive aggressive or troll-y or whatever I or others may think, at the end of the day, those in need are receiving much needed financial contributions, and that's a win no matter how you look at it. Congrats on a great season, Ravens fan, and I'm sure we'll be meeting you again in the playoffs for many years to come. The Bengals have entered the chat Quote

And I especially felt bad for Andrews. The guilt and disappointment are bad enough; death threats are way over-the-top. Watching the replay, I've decided the catch wasn't as easy as it first appeared. In any case, every NFL player makes mistakes. His just happened to come at a critical time. But if other players had played better during the first 58 minutes, the Ravens wouldn't have needed that conversion. Games are never decided by one person's mistake. Sounds like Andrews is a good guy, and I hope someday he makes an amazing acrobatic catch at the end of a playoff game to win one for you guys. I hope he finds his redemption - though preferably not against the Bills. In any case, my hat off to all the classy players and fans on both sides. 1 Quote

Logic Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) 29 minutes ago, Starr Almighty said: The Bengals have entered the chat Well...kind of, yes. While it's true that Bills fans donated to Dalton's charity after the Bengals won, it's because that Bengals win did something beneficial for the Bills. The point remains that Bills fans have yet to donate to another team's charity after losing to them. The closest so far was donating to Bass's charity after he missed that kick last year. Also, it being pointed out to me that Andrews is/was being donated to primarily/only because of Ravens fans sending him threats changes my original comment a little bit. Andrews donations notwithstanding, I still think the "donate to your charity after we beat you" act can come across as a little condescending/troll-ish at times, and I also reiterate that ANY MONEY DONATED TO ANY CHARITY FOR ANY REASON is always a good thing, no matter what. They also did it when Bills beat Ravens in 2021 when Jackson suffered a concussion in the playoff game. Go back and read Jackson's reaction. Certainly no one was "rubbing it in" that he got hurt. I know today's world is cynical, but I think in this instance it is for good reasons, not bad. 1 Quote
