I’ll have what she’s having.

I wish I could be confident, but I’m just too damaged.  I barely enjoyed the Ravens game last week.  It’s tough and I hate how negatively this all affects me.

I find that I care more about changing the narratives than the actual winning.  I’m tired of hearing what we can’t do.  That we can’t beat the Chiefs in the playoffs (which no one else really can) we can’t make a Super Bowl, etc.

I just want to win and finally put to rest the narrative that we will always find a way to fail.

Hate to say it - but this sums up so much of how I've felt for years.

The narratives are so repetitive and tired - but also so ingrained.  I see so many "the Bills can never win it all" & similar sentiments to that. We'll never win a SB, we'll never get past KC in the playoffs, we'll always find a way to lose.

It has drained me, and taken some joy out of these games.  Feels like finally winning it will be more of a relief - but it will absolutely be so liberating.  I think I'll watch the sport like a kid again.

Not confident at all. Think we get beat, hope I’m wrong. They have zero injuries, well rested, playing at home. They have a better defense, better coaching and equal offense. They only lost 1 close game all year and it was to us when we were at home. I just don’t see it.

Equal offense?

We outscored them by 6 ppg.

They didn’t score over 30 once all season.
We scored over 30 - 11 times.

We scored 40 or more 4 times.

How is their offense equal to ours?

It's all about matchups, imo.

KC does have a great defense, going back to last season, but also going back to last season, the Bills have been able to run a productive offense against them, in every game.

This contrasts with Baltimore, which is a more difficult matchup for us, including their defense, and we were able to overcome that.

We have already passed the toughest test of the post-season, however, that does not mean it's going to take anything less than our very best against KC.

Their #1 RB was hurt all year. Their #1 WR was hurt all year. Their # 1 RB is back, they picked up Hopkins and Hollywood is back. Not to mention Kelce is playing like his old self now. They always turn it on in the playoffs. Most of all McDermott will make a dumb call that will end us costing us the game. I have zero confidence.

Pacheo is averaging 3.7 ypc carry since he has been back.

Hopkins was picked up the same week as we picked up Cooper….week 6 I think?  The offense didn’t get any better.

Hollywood Brown had exactly 0 catches last week.

If you believe that we will lose the game over a dumb call, that means you expect it to go down to the wire, and if it goes down to the wire, you've gotta have at least SOME type of confidence towards the Bills, even if you think the Chiefs win in the end. "Zero confidence" to me is expecting a blowout loss.

Also, man it pains me to say this, but last year's loss to KC wasn't necessarily due to a bad call; it was on Allen going for it all too early.  Yeah, there was the dumb fake punt, but then there was the Hardman fumble.  I will always believe it was the result of Allen not throwing the ball to Diggs on 2nd and 9.  I don't even care about the missed field goal.  Mahomes would have had time to win the game after we tied it.  But if he hits Diggs on that 2nd and 9 and we milk the clock en route to a TD, that's the ball game.  And the difference is, he has been taking those easy buckets this season.  He has approached the game with a different mentality all season long.  I have no reason NOT to have confidence that it won't continue against KC.

I told my teenage son to just try and enjoy the games. He gets as nervous as I do and is starting to mimic some of my dumb gameday superstitions. I don’t want him going down that road. Although i have to be honest, as i tell him this could be as close as the Bills get to a Super Bowl for the next decade.  No one knows how future seasons will turn out. Just enjoy and be positive.

This!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus, as freaking usual for the last few seasons the defensive injuries have started. Remind me what's killed this team the previous few seasons in the playoffs.

OH YEAH, DEFENSIVE INJURIES.

At this point, I really don't care if Buffalo wins a Super Bowl; I just want them to get past the much-hatred Kansas City Chiefs. I haven't been able to watch the SB pregame media for years now because I dislike the Chiefs so much. I haven't watched the SB either unless it was the one I reveled in, with the Bucs beating the Chiefs.

I have found that my passion for disliking the Chiefs has nearly surpassed my enjoyment when the Buffalo Bills win. I suppose you could say that this Sunday's game is my Super Bowl.

I'm oddly confident about KC but think the Eagles outclass us in the SB with their roster talent (outside of QB, of course).  We just haven't caught any breaks at all in our path.  Balt-@KC-Phily was the hardest possible path.

I think the year Josh and the Bills finally win the SB, we'll have better path luck.

I just dreamt the Bills lost this week and refs were involved

Needless to say I woke up heartbroken 💔

I don’t want to feel this in real life on Sunday

Go Bills baby

Even playing field, Bills cream them again.

Refs protecting the Taylor rating boost is real, though

Has nothing to do with Taylor and everything to do with Mahomes.

The favorable calls aren't anything that hasn't happened before. Lest we forget the Patriots and Cowboys of yesteryear.

Hell, a bs roughing call on Brady is the reason this current Chiefs team doesn't have 4 Lombardis instead of 3.

My heart says the bills are 100% winning.

My mind and body says ptsd, anxiety, suffering, gut wrenching heart break, devastation, depression

can anyone else relate?

Of course! I was not even confident being up with 13 seconds remaining. Unfortunately, I am not the most optimistic person by nature. I can't really explain it but I feel different going into this game and I'm not sure why. I don't have my normal dose of anxiety, mixed with nervous frustration. I think that we are going to win.

We will soon see what happens but I gotta say that it feels good to go into a playoff game feeling this way.

GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
