Ramza86 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I think we were really fortunate to not get beat by 14+ by the Ravens. That game could have easily played out like it did earlier this year. I think the Chiefs are in their stride.....at the right time of course. They will be at their best, but I think if we are at our best too its a coinflip. All these teams are almost equally good. Its just about who has a better day (REFS EXCLUDED). 1 Quote
Beast Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Yeah, I felt even more confident with :13 showing on the clock at Arrowhead a few years back. I felt, even with two more game ahead of them, they were unstoppable. They never made it to those two games. I’ve learned my confidence doesn’t matter. 2 minutes ago, Ramza86 said: I think we were really fortunate to not get beat by 14+ by the Ravens. If the Bills didn’t play so conservative on offense and continued bringing the heat against Lamar, the Bills would have won that game by 10 plus. Edited 7 hours ago by Beast 2 Quote
Allen2Moulds Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Just enjoying the ride. I'm beyond letting expectations ruin the moment. I say that, and then kickoff happens, and I'm a totally irrational lunatic. Edited 7 hours ago by Allen2Moulds 4 3 Quote
bmur66 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Let's be realistic. The Bills have a fair shot at knocking off the Chiefs. Let's not put our boots on before our pants. 1 1 1 Quote

MJS Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago If they can get there, I would be fairly confident. But they have to get through Kansas City first. That is a tall task. Quote
GunnerBill Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Oh I'll be a wreck Sunday. The game is 11.30pm UK time that is a LOT of time to kill haha. I am confident for the Chiefs game. Not that I think it's a foregone conclusion or anything like it but even taking the emotion out of it my head says tight game, Bills slight favourites. If it is Philly in the Superbowl I'm a bit more worried. Their trenches are just so darn strong both sides. 1 1 Quote

I ask this because I for one have not. I just think that Josh looks unstoppable and the OL looks fabulous. I'm approaching the KC game without the lingering fear of something going bad that has haunted me the other times that we got this close. It really does feel great!!!!! GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't say I'm confident. But I would say the possibility is higher than it's been in 30+ years. KC may not be what they once were, but KC in the playoffs in Arrowhead is no simple task. And in likely hood if we win it sets up a Super Bowl match with the Eagles and Barkley. That's another daunting task with this run defense. I will also say that no matter what happens Sunday and possibly in the Bowl, I'm happy with how this "rebuilding year" turned out. This team turned out light years better than the team that played at Arrowhead for the AFC Championship a few years ago. I hope we don't miss the opportunity, as we never truly know when the next will come. 1 Quote

TheWeatherMan Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Chiefs are the luckiest team in NFL history and IMO one of the worst teams (performance wise) to make it to the AFC Championship. Winning games by Missed FGs blocked FGs, botched snaps, blatant favoritism from officiating and missed TDs by cm’s has been their mantra. IMO, If Bills play turnover and relatively mistake free football, they have this game in the bag. Quote

This weekend has me worried - I think the Chiefs might buck their season trend and try for an all-out aerial assault. Stopping the run is about numbers and attitude; stopping the pass is about pass rush win rate and back-end talent and I don’t know about our chances there… talk me off the ledge. Quote

DabillsDaBillsDaBills Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I was more confident in 2021 even though we only made it to the divisional. Felt like we "learned our lesson" from 2020 and our offense was playing so well we felt unbeatable. 1 Quote

I just think it is a lot to expect their passing game to execute at a level it really hasn't think year - especially the deep passing game. But if they do with Rapp and Benford down it is definitely a concern. 1 Quote
TurfToeJam Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) More confident than I was going into the Baltimore game. Only concerns is if Taron Johnson and /or Taylor Rapp don't play. Especially Taron cause he'd possibly be the guy to help cover Kelce. Hoping for good relatively warm weather Edited 6 hours ago by TurfToeJam 1 Quote

Can KC's Oline hold up long enough for an all out aerial assault? Big ask with their tackles and kicking out one of their best interior OL to play mediocre tackle. Unless Hollywood Brown is all the way back I don't know that they have the talent at pass catcher for that approach. I think if we get carved up through the air its because our pass rush totally fails and Mahomes is able to consistently dance around, buy time, and hit big plays off schedule much like Lamar did last week.
