Fan Confidence Levels.....

If they somehow beat the Chiefs, I think they'll go all the way.  But my confidence level for this weekend is low.  To be the man, you have to beat the man and we have not done it yet.  Until I see that, I don't believe it will happen.

Face it, most of us would rather have had Andrews hold on to the conversion pass and take our chances with Josh and a minute and a half and overtime assured than take our chances with an on-sides kick with Baltimore only needing a field goal to win. Seriously, was there anyone who was not holding their breath before the ref signaled our ball? Being a Bills fan has its consequences. Never relaxing until the final gun is one of them.

My biggest concern is our coach, 13 seconds prevent defense and last week not going for 2 point.

Yup.  The second that Andrews dropped it and Romo was saying that it was over, I found myself doing clock math over and over.  Kept expecting the Ravens to call timeout even though I knew they had none.

The NFL has one goal- make as much money as possible. KC can provide more revenue. 
Kansas City is the golden child. Rock star Mahomes is all over commercial ads, Taylor and Travis. 3-peat. Great storylines. 
The NFL wants the Chiefs again. 
I have little doubt it won’t happen. 
And now we’ve got the flag-happiest NFL officiating crew overseeing this contest. 
Unless the Bills pull out all the stops and play nearly error-free ball, I don’t see them advancing this year. Not because they’re not good enough, but because the NFL wants to control the narrative that will yield maximum $$$$$.

Agreed. Our D has a tendency to keep opponents in games, mostly as a result of poor 3rd down defense. That said, other teams have great players on their side of the ball and some just can’t be contained an entire game.

I'm right at 50/50 on this weekend.  Obviously, this is a tough game. The #1 seed/defending champs, going to their place, overcoming some psychology related to our 0-3 record in the playoffs against them.  I think the teams are pretty even, and it will probably come down to getting a break or 2 for whichever team wins.

 

If we win this weekend, I think we win it all.  The NFC teams just don't scare me.

Flag happy crew benefits the bills imo…a non flag happy crew would be a great equalizer for the offensive line disparity between these two teams

Agreed with a lot of the first paragraph. But Philly is a real bad match up for us. They're similar but better than the version of the Ravens we got in week 4 this year.

 

I worry more about that match up than the Chiefs. But gotta get through Arrowhead first.

It's almost like the NFL is an entertainment company rather than a sports league, lol. Guess which team is getting the kick to the head this weekend?

You are 100% right but just as a funny footnote the chiefs are surprisingly the lowest ranked team by DVOA in our playoff run so far.  If we were to beat them they’d be the lowest ranked team by ELO in our playoff run no matter who wins the nfc championship 😂. If the eagles win that would be true for DVOA also 

of course that all goes out the window Sunday night haha but pretty interesting stuff.  We are almost always higher ranked than them in those metrics but it’s pretty rare that a lower seeded AFC team sneaks in between us.

 

 ill never forgive the bengals for blowing this stat haha but since 2020, the only team of the 8 to make the superbowl with an under 15 total dvoa was that bengals team. Curious how many years back that indicator holds up for…I think I’ve gotta pay them money to check further back than 2020 😂

took a look through net points of teams in the superbowl because that’s free, chiefs are at 59 this year and only 5 teams of the 40 were under 60 net points going back 20 years (2 were the giants)
