Maxx Crosby, Myles Garrett, T Hendrickson, Chase Young....K Mack

I highly doubt Maxx will ever go anywhere.  The organization loves him too much.

i doubt we’ll ever give up the picks required to land Garrett- and given the 2 years he has left on his contract- I’m sure a trade would include a massive raise from the 19M he’s going to make.  Maybe we trade Rousssau and a 2nd plus more picks?  24 year old for a 29 year old?

Hendrickson would be amazing….but he’s still under contract-  is he going to hold out the entire season?  And give up 18M?  🤷🏻‍♂️ would they trade him to Buffalo?

Chase young- meh.  He’s alright but I’ve seen him lallygag too many times.  Doesn’t seem like a culture fit but maybe we are exactly what he needs.

I wouldn't mind Chase Young if the organization feels like on a one year "prove it" year he can really get it in gear to try and land a big contract, Chase Young is a lot younger than Mack and the Bills already have an older pass rusher in Von who likely will be back for one more year as Von seems willing to rework his contract to be palatable cap wise. Something about having Mack at age 34 and Von at age 36 doesn't seem like something the Bills would do too much age at a very critical position.

While there do seem to be problems with each, having options gives Beane some room and possibilities.

The DL may be the place to put some money.  They've tried before (which I like). And with the lack of production from A Cooper it does seem like the FO could conclude they can get the WR cheaper than anticipated.

Money (and draft picks) talk.  The Raiders would probably listen - new management.

Buffalo isn't home for Mack.  I don't understand why people keep thinking of him that way.  He loves LA.  If he signs anywhere, it will be with the Chargers or another West Coast team.

Didn't he extort UB to offer a family member a scholarship?  What a creep.

One year stop gap.  That’s going to be something we do every year.  He had 2 sacks in the playoff game vs Houston.  He’s missed like 12 games in his entire career. He’s as durable aa they come. Injury can happen to anyone.  I don’t think he’s going to command more than 10M a year but you never know.

a splash move would be amazing but i really think our splash moves will be resigning our owns.  I haven’t dove into the offseason possibilities of edge rushers that may be available - anyone in mind?

I haven't dove into FA recently, nor do I want to until after we win the Super Bowl ha.

But not gonna lie...there is this part of me that is just hoping I start hearing names like Maxx or Myles tossed around as trade candidates this offseason as teams like the Raiders and Browns really need to start a full rebuild.  I know its probably a pipe dream, but a boy can dream haha.

But my realistic expectation is we address the position in the draft early.  Before we know what we do in terms of trades or FA, I would think its safe to say that WR, DL, S, and CB are probably our 4 highest priorities this offseason.  So I guess if we address edge in the draft then Mack makes some sense as a 1 year mentor/stop-gap guy, just as long as its not a multi-year deal.

I wouldn't say extort but he put pressure on them because he was a huge possible donor and Leipold was trying to get a lot done at UB when he was there. He was trying to get the fieldhouse, he was redesigning the coaches offices and remodeling them and adding a nutrition area and was attempting to have a new weightroom build from the fieldhouse.

Brought him in for a visit and his brother definitely didn't get the good genes in the family. Sandy, Khalil's father, is a monster and Khalil took after him but LaDarius was much smaller. He also only had one offer. It ended up working out in the end as LaDarius ended up being a solid player for UB in his career.

Yeah- young would be great on a one year prove it deal-  the same thing he signed last offseason- which leads me to believe he’s looking for some long term gtd money this offseason-  not a 2nd probe it deal In a row.  We’ll find out how the league values him soon enough.

I don’t think we’d sign Mack if we still had von.

Agree with all of this except the raiders part.  Same owner.  He’s the one that LOVES Crosby- as does the entire fan base.

I truly wish I had this mindset (really. It’s a compliment). All I can think about this week is how bass will miss a game winner, or the refs will throw a defensive holding call with 30 seconds left to let the chiefs win another one, or how Josh will have to go Superman and put up insane stats just to let McD do something stupid and ruin it again. You know, the standard stuff.

My wife often asks if I even enjoy watching the games. I do. I look forward to them. But I can see where she’s coming from.

i think decades of below average play and more importantly at least 10 soul crushing “billsy” losses have me jaded. Hell, after the onside recovery last week all I kept saying was “clean snap boys” when all we were doing was kneeling it down.

I just wish I could share your optimism. It would make this whole “being a fan” thing more fun.

Good luck, try to see the forest through the trees.  We are blessed with a top notch owner, organization, and one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game.  Everything flows downhill from that.

Our team has amazing levels of perseverance and camraderie.  Our offense can succeed against any defense in the league.  They are so easy to love and root for.

At this level of football, a little luck will always be needed, as Ravens found out last week.  The Ravens are still a great team and will contend next year.  So will we if we can't win it all.  But enjoy the journey and the titanic matchups. If luck should not favor us these last two games we are and will remain a great team as we reload and try again.

To your words, we are playing football at the highest levels and will continue to do so for many years, hopefully culminating in a trophy.  How much simply better is that than those decades of lousy, pointless football?

You're letting the past rob you the joy of today and justifying your wallowing with the lack of a Superbowl trophy.

I hope you can let it go and put your trust in our guys and live the moments.  If we fail, we are only in the middle of what will become another legendary time and players for this franchise.

He was on a 1 year prove it deal for the Saints and didn’t do too bad on a reduced role (63%) of the snaps. Definitely earned a contract that keeps him at a team for a couple years, question is price. Is it going to be a large one? No. But it’ll probably be out of our price range. The one year prove it was probably the best chance we had, given his sacks, TFLs and pressures, he definitely proved he has value in the right system.

It's such an amazing time to be a Bills fan.  We weren't even supposed to win the East.  Everything's locked in now, just root like hell for them as they try and overcome any shortcomings and mistakes to win one for us!

I would be onboard taking him for a year. I think he has just enough left to make a difference and would be a suitable, potentially affordable replacement for Von.  This would bring his career full circle.

just think we could have drafted him and TJ Watt , i really thought Watt was going to be a Bill but i guess they thought Tre white would be better.
