transplantbillsfan Posted yesterday at 04:45 PM Posted yesterday at 04:45 PM Did anyone else watch this live on the broadcast and just keep rewinding and cracking up? 3 3 1 Quote
msw2112 Posted yesterday at 05:24 PM Posted yesterday at 05:24 PM I did see this on the broadcast and noticed it at the time. A little levity after a stressful game. 1 Quote

He loves to mess with people, I assume it doesn't matter whether there is a camera there or not. Look for the video from when he did a live interview on a golf course with a local news reporter where he asked if it was a live feed and then pretended to freeze up or the video linked here. Wings at Room 40 Yep. McD even says in this clip "welcome to my team meetings", so this is hardly the first time Josh has messed with him. I bet it happens all the time. Must be so fun to be in that building nowadays. 2 1 Quote

Exactly what I thought and I thought it was cool because that tells you the unique QB/Coach relationship. You could almost see Josh trying to hurry things up by clapping even earlier when you watch the whole thing play out. Cracked me up. 1 Quote
Man with No Name Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago josh being josh. reminds me of this story from an article about josh's college days, from an article that came out last week. Rothe: My freshman year, I’m a kicker. We’re standing on the sidelines during a team scrimmage. Sure enough, the ball ends up on the sideline. I’m holding the ball, usually the equipment managers are quick to come grab it, but I see Josh calling my name: “Cooper, Cooper, throw me the ball, let’s go.” I’m supposed to give it to the equipment manager, which is the right move, but Josh is the team captain. I don’t want to be the guy to say no to Josh. So I make eye contact with him, throw probably the best ball of my life, perfect spiral. As I release the ball, I see him look away on purpose. Best ball of my life. Going right at his head. He has his helmet on. It hits him. He flails his arm, throws his head back … “Cooper, what the hell, man?” 7 Quote

Yes, it was right after McDermott commented about the low risk offensive plan. I took it as Josh being sarcastic. 1 Quote

"I know it isnt sexy, but damn is it..." then notices Josh looking at him and knows something is coming. Was probably going to say something like "but damn is it important" Quote
