dgrochester55 Posted March 1 Posted March 1 (edited) This was an obvious disaster. Granted, negotiations can get heated, but that is why it should not be live. Rather than follow fox and call Trump brilliant or follow CNN and call Zelensky a hero I will say that all of them acted wrong. Vance was wrong for interjecting when it was not has place and causing the escalated moments. Zelensky was wrong for trying to bait and switch the terms at the last second and play to the media. Trump was wrong for losing his temper like it was the opener of Monday night RAW and erupting like he was on the apprentice. Had he had more control and calmly said "it looks like we have more to discuss that we thought and that it would be better to finish this in private" and then excuse everyone, he would have looked like the better person, but that clearly did not happen.
