If you want to donate why go through gofundme and not directly to the cause? This person might have the best intentions but this feels super scammy. “Don’t donate to charity. Donate to me and I’ll totally give it to them for you I swear.”

He dropped the ball, he didn’t get hurt. Its one thing to support someone after an injury or personal matter, but after they blow a play it is kind of a rub it in their face type move.

Agreed that this comes across poorly.  

 

Doing this for someone who did the right thing that helped us (Bengals getting us the wildcard) is positive messaging.  Doing this bc someone made possibly the biggest mistake of their career against us is just rude (to put it politely).
