Didn’t see another thread specifically for those going to the game next week.  I’m making my first trip to Arrowhead and we won’t have the ability to organize a “tailgate” in the traditional sense.  Are there bars/restaurants near the stadium; hopefully walkable?  I’ll do my own research but hoped perhaps some of you have been to games there previously.

Thanks and Go Bills!!!

Good for you, have fun bud.  It’s a fun experience.  I usually go to Power and Lights after attending the Saturday night party.  Always have a blast there.

My wife and I almost booked flights but I decided I’d rather be at Moondoggies with the crew.

This is absolutely a true all time legacy game. It's a shifting of the guard if buffalo wins and very reminiscent of the 81 NFC championship. A shift in power and organizational perception will happen if the bills and Allen can vanquish the great KC chiefs and Mahomes. I have incredible respect for the chiefs dynasty and Mahomes.

All my life buffalo has never won this game vs this type of dynasty opponent and context of the moment. This is going to be a true classic and I do believe that the bills will prevail. Allen to Kincaid like Montana to Clark will be the winning touchdown

Honorable mention will be Von Miller. Von Miller is going to make one play imo to help buffalo prevail.

I'm going to try and workout before the game to relax ...

It's going to be an all time classic

You dont want to stay around the stadium, jut lyft/uber or rent/turo and stay in either overland park kansas or north kansas city mo areas. Make sure to try Joe's BBQ or Q39 BBQ, both delicious. A lot of Bills fans will meet at Taps on Main in downtown KC on either fri or sat or both.

Looks like the Airbnb we’re staying at is a 4-minute walk from Jack’s Shack…how do they stack up to Joe’s or Q39?  Does it matter?

They are also very good, just a little different style. sides are great there, my personal favortie is their cheesy corn.

Is it the crosscroads jackstack? If so, you also wouldnt be too far from the taps on main. a ton of Bills backers go there for saturday/sunday tailgating. Some of the players family show up there too sometimes. But I havent heard much this year about their plans.

The best half and I are going. She has become quite the Bills backer. We wore Bills bathrobes that we received as a gift to both the Broncos and Ravens games and taking them to KC. Her brother (life long Jets fan) will also be going. I am slowly transitioning him into a Bills fan.

We chose the package from Fans of Buffalo https://fansofbuffalo.com/product/afcchampionship/?mc_cid=3489a8dd97&mc_eid=6319603b3eto and reserved our own flights. The Westin Hotel rooms have already sold out in their package. I also made a reservation early Sunday at Jack Stack’s BBQ. Plan to hit Taps on Main on Sat night. Saw that their Tonawanda Wings are only served with blue cheese so that seems like the right place.

Live here in KC, we're expecting a good turnout for this one since the last championship was COVID. Saturday people usually go to Als in Parkville MO, or to Taps on Main in Downtown KC. I'm still watching tickets as they're pretty pricey. If lower bowl prices plummet I might end up going.

If you want more up to date info follow the Bills Backers of KC Facebook or Twitter account.
