It’s as good a referee as we could get , Chiefs are 9-6 in games he’s officiated. His staff this year called a lot of penalties but mixed staff in the playoffs

Only the TOP officiating crews get to work playoffs. And I'd imagine each round gets more and more elite, as less games available to work.

 

You're telling me this postseason is the best crews? That the ref crew that called the 2nd most total penalties of all crews.... is in your top 2 crews.

 

That's how piss poor it's been. I'm at the point i refuse to believe it's incompetence.

 

The reason the nfl doesn't fix this isn't $$, thats a very cheap fix to a major problem 

 

The reason, is this ref crew is beholden to the current narrative the nfl wants, at all times. They steer it.

 

Im not at all talking fixing or throwing games. But steering the ship in direction nfl wants to go (biggest money maker). I think they need to :

 

-be able to control scoring at any point in any given week.

 

-Big city markets instructed to get leniency

 

-keep games close at all times... certain teams need help staying "closer" than others
