My mom threatened to turn off the game because I jumped up when we got the safety and almost knocked over a lamp. The first football game I ever got to watch was the Eagles "Fog Bowl" playoff game because it was on at my Scout leader's house... I ended up being hooked on football and what tipped the scales was the fact that my mother graduated from Lew-Port and went to Fredonia and I chose the Bills. I had no idea that from then on it would be a 35 year journey of the highest highs, the lowest lows and today, once again close to that high from 1990... Quote

Dillenger4 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago OK, this video is mint! Reminds me of the Trailer Park boys. Lovin the guns on the wall... wtf?? "Hey boys, I'm havin a SB party in my basement. We can even go upstairs to the good couch". Lets get ripped! Right before Norwood misses.. the guy says "earn your money"! Classic line! 1 Quote

As always with things from decades ago it's crazy to think of how the people in the video will have changed. Kids are now middle aged, some of the middle aged guys are no more. They never got to see Josh Allen, never got to be excited to see us in another championship game. Live for today, I guess, or something. But I do hope beyond hope that one day after I'm dead and buried someone can post a YouTube video of my gray middle aged head smiling and cheering a championship. Went the Bills played the Giants last year I scrolled through the Bills roster to see how many players were even alive when Super Bowl 25 went down. I might be mistaken but it was only Von Miller. I was one of those kids now a middle aged guy when that game went down.... you are correct it's always startling how things and people change. 1 Quote
zevo Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago that game is what hooked me as a bills fan. I was 8. I remember not being able to sleep after the loss and replaying things in my head all night long. Quote
Stroke 17 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago So I traveled to Buffalo to watch the game with Bills fans. I watched it at a Super Bowl party at a Ramada Inn someplace by the Airport, Seems it was inside a dome like building around or near the Ramada. I can't remember all the details or anything else about this place. Anybody remember it. What happened to it? Gone? Still there? Quote

Wonder if anybody in this video is a member here!? These guys all need to get together this season to recreate this in a time capsule type of thing to see just how much things have changed in the amount of time that has passed . Did ya'll see the size of that TV ? 😂 I can remember every thing about that particular day where i was, who i was with, even down to what i had as far as my attire which was all Bills gear . And like many others i thought there was no way on god green earth that the Bills could lose, but alas here we are ... GO BILLS !!! Quote

That would be awesome if those guys got together to recreate that Super Bowl party...especially if the Bills make it back this year! A lot of things stand out in that video for sure, the old school smaller TV, even just the simplicity of the party in general. Could you imagine someone hosting a Super Bowl party that looked like that nowadays? And I'm not knocking those guys, that was just how things were back then. Hard to believe how much time has passed since our last Super Bowl appearance Quote
