BillsPride12 Posted Tuesday at 02:10 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:10 AM Well we all know how this one ends so proceed with caution but if you are into Nostalgia and Buffalo sports history this is a pretty cool little time capsule. Wonder if anybody in this video is a member here!? 1 1 Quote
RiotAct Posted Tuesday at 02:24 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:24 AM lol at first glance I thought it said “Milanos” and was thinking, huh, this must have been at least a few years before he was even born! 3 Quote

27yankees Posted Tuesday at 12:40 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:40 PM Crazy, 1st child born 2 weeks after SB, brothers in arms were deployed to the desert, and I deployed 5 weeks later. great memories, except for the game. We had that game if not for Kelly being stubborn. Just give Thermal the darn ball. 1 2 Quote
EasternOHBillsFan Posted Tuesday at 07:59 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:59 PM I was in high school, watching it on a 13" Sharp tube TV in my bedroom... rabbit ears and all. No one in my family watched football except for me at that time because my father's twin brother, a high school football player, died before they were supposed to graduate together and he couldn't watch. 3 Quote
Billsfanatic8989 Posted Tuesday at 08:08 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:08 PM Watching that on TV or live would be....ugh. A very bad feeling. I always thought the offense didn't do enough to get in closer fg range. 47 yards on grass was a long kick at that time. Not easy. Turning point of the game was when Ingram on the Giants broke tackles to get the 3rd down. Or, Giants QB not losing the ball on the safety. One tackle or one ball coming loose would have made everything different. 2 1 Quote

That had to be tough as a kid.... sorry you had to watch that alone... 1 Quote

I'm not trying to make light of this, but does this mean the dead guy couldn't watch? I'm not sure if i'm reading this correctly. 1 Quote

I was also in High School and the only one in my family that cared. My mom threatened to turn off the game because I jumped up when we got the safety and almost knocked over a lamp. 1 2 Quote

RobbRiddick Posted Tuesday at 09:29 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:29 PM Very strange watching that. As always with things from decades ago it's crazy to think of how the people in the video will have changed. Kids are now middle aged, some of the middle aged guys are no more. They never got to see Josh Allen, never got to be excited to see us in another championship game. Live for today, I guess, or something. But I do hope beyond hope that one day after I'm dead and buried someone can post a YouTube video of my gray middle aged head smiling and cheering a championship. 1 4 Quote

Yeah that was the main reason I posted this, such a time capsule. I hope the majority of those guys are still around and enjoying the Josh Allen era! Quote
Dan Darragh Posted Tuesday at 10:28 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:28 PM I stayed up all night to watch that game (was living 7 time zones ahead of Buffalo). Quote
