Useless side note, during the super bowl run the Bills were 4-1 during the regular season against Giants/Redskins/Cowboys, only loss was a meaningless week 17 loss in 1990 when home field advantage was already locked up. Not sure our exact regular season record against the Chiefs is but pretty good. That's our narrative thus far.......we can only beat KC in the regular season and it's not wrong, however, "to be the man, you have to beat the man". We need this game more than any game we've played so far under the McD era. We need to change the narrative. This is our year......this is our time. 1 1 Quote

Dig deep and find a way to win this game. Please do. I’m not emotionally prepared for a loss. It’s going to send me into a spiraling depression and alcoholism most likely. Please win for the sake of my mental health, Sean. 1 Quote

That’s an impossible task. The 4 SB losses are too imbedded into the sports fans psyche. It’s impossible to not associate one with the other. It will only be cured with a championship. Otherwise, expect to hear it every single time the Bills get deep into the playoffs (playoffs!??!) I think it’s one of the most interesting sports lores in general. Josh Allen the savior of the Buffalo Bills drafted from Wyoming of all places comes & restores glory to a defeated franchise and city. It’s straight out of a movie. WINNING cures everything. Just go and win then the association w/ the 90s teams will stop. 1 Quote
zow2 Posted 13 hours ago Author Posted 13 hours ago I'm bringing it all the way back to the 1966 AFL Championship game when KC walked into the Rockpile and beat Buffalo 31-7 to advance to Super Bowl 1. My late grandfather was there and he was still pissed about that to his last day. We got them back once with Montana, but the Chiefs have ruined our great seasons in 2020, 2021 and 2023. We're looking at them in the eye this time, respecting what the Chiefs have accomplished, but collectively we are going to will this to happen in our favor. Quote

That's gotta tell me we finally get them Sunday. Just spy Mahomes and take away 87. Double team his old ass if you have to. Play a hybrid zone where you man up on Kelce only. Take away Pats security blanket. If Worthy beats you, so be it. I think if the defense was even somewhat healthy we'd have beaten them last year. 2021 we should have beaten them. Hopefully this time. 1 Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Bills need our weapons to get involved. Whatever is going on with Coleman and Cooper needs to stop. They need some big catches sunday Quote
Sweats Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Here's my way of thinking...... I can honestly live with a loss against KC next week if the team gives everything they have and leaves it all on the table......i can live with that, there's no shame in defeat at that point to know that the team gave everything they had and fell short, however, i will be severely disgusted if the team is not prepared, comes out flat, doesn't know assignments, etc.......and that is something i can't live with. I never fault anyone for giving everything they have and coming up short, it happens and the better team won that day. Quote
