That was a strange play to get a concussion on...it didn't even look like he got hit on the head area really.

Probably not… He was also chilling in the locker room celebrating.  
 

I feel that the Bills fan base overreacts to injury reports.  We’ll see what happens this week but I’m guessing he’s limited in practice on Wednesday

I always look at the body language of the player right after the injury. Seeing Taron Johnson get up right after his injury I knew he’d be fine. You can usually tell right away by the players demeanor what kind of injury it is

Fwiw, I thought that Benford was hurt before that play. He seemed to be moving slowly and favoring Left arm/shoulder

Concussion protocol doesn't mean concussion.  And Benford hasn't had any sited concussions from college.

 

So we will see.  I would say looking at the positives, he will play.  I'll feel even better if he gets limited sessions on Wed and Thursday.

Who knows, it could have happened earlier and they are just saying it was the last play since he never got evaluated in game.

As someone said upthread, he looked lost on the 2-point conversion.  Barely even reacted to the drop.

What I worried about all along with this game is we knew it was going to be a physical game with a lot of hard hitting, so whoever came out victorious was likely going to be more banged up than KC.  

 

If the Ravens won, they'd probably be worrying about Humphrey right now.

 

Just sucks that it happened on the last possible play for him... the onside kick... ugh.  Really hope he will be ok.  Elam is one of the current Bills that has intercepted Mahomes (nice play too, as I recall) but we'd all much, much rather have Benford and his consistency in this game.

 

Not to mention, he already missed last year's KC playoff game.

Hopefully, Benford is good for Sunday. Replays didn’t look that severe on the onside kickoff but then again with the cold I’m sure it hurt. 
 

Benford and Hamlin had horrible communication on the last 2pt attempt. 
 

Also, love Taron Johnson, but he got torched twice for big plays on that last drive.

He wouldn't have needed to retake the field.  The Bills got the ball on the OS kick and ran out the clock.
