BUT if he is a DNP tomorrow, I don't know what to make of that. 

 

You'd imagine, with what is at stake, whatever/whoever helped Davis advance through the protocol relatively fast should apply to Benford as well.  YES, I realize it's concussion protocol and every case is (supposedly) treated differently, but let's be real, just going based on what we have SEEN this year:

 

We all witnessed Josh Allen taking the field minutes after getting his lights knocked out, and as for Davis, boy... he got knocked out too! 

 

it's pretty clear that some-how, some-way these doctors are willing and able to make exceptions for important players and/or important stages of the season. 

 

And, that is why I'd expect Benford to show up as Limited in practice tomorrow, but I'll be genuinely concerned about his chances of playing if he's a DNP... 

 

This week's injury report cannot come soon enough.  Ugh.

Benford would be a huge loss for us. Not only is he good in coverage, but a great tackler too

It makes me think, that they saw that and decided to put him bubble wrap for next week, and he was probably like it's nothing, I'm fine. At least what makes sense to me.

Not being critical here.  In fact, if that's your belief, I might be right there with you.

 

Allen trotting back onto the field moments after getting KO'd and briefly losing consciousness.  If he was ANYONE ELSE on the Bills, he's not coming back onto the field that soon.

 

And then, Ray Davis, another big time KO, but he's already practicing by Wednesday?  Highly doubt this happens if it weren't the playoffs...

 

I'm not 100% sure what to think, but based on what we've seen this season, yes, I believe there's some loophole at the very least.

 

Honestly and selfishly, I hope there is too, because I need Benford to play.  I absolutely cannot live with knowing this Chiefs team is responsible for ending our season in four of the past five seasons.......... IT CAN'T HAPPEN!!!!!!  We have been through too much.. lol.

Last year it was @HappyDays that knew about these injuries from the Dolphins game and Steelers game before they were released. 
 

Knew all about Douglas knee, Dodson shoulder, and so forth.

That’s the response a coach gives when he’s mad about something you’re not doing regarding the game plan.  
 

Have no issue if they thought he started getting a little out of position - OR - TBH I thought from special teams to his time on defense Dorian looked like a man possessed and was legit out to kill.  
 

The coaches know it.  Maybe they thought he was giving them a little more juice at the end?

A poster above, notes that banged up Bills saw him hop off a little gingerly on a play.  That makes me think, that they were being abundantly cautious with him.  Had the Ravens come back and won, that would've obviously blown up in our face, but luckily it didn't. Of course this is pure speculation by me, trying to figure what I believe makes the most sense.  Milano has never been someone who goes rogue.

Milano will play, but he'll be in a full body cast with 2' extensions in his legs.

Benford will be ruled out but they are going to give him Elam's jersey and load him up with bath salts pregame and sneak him on the field when the refs aren't looking.

Milano also posted the next day on his Instagram which is probably a good sign. (Grasping for straws here lol)

More info here... Although he doesn't really go into any detail on why Hyde isn't being considered for Sunday.  Here's hoping Rapp makes a quick recovery from what seemed a fairly severe injury.

McDermott cares too much about Hyde to risk playing him and a potential neck injury. 

 

We drafted Bishop high for a reason and I am fully confident he'll be ready if rapp can't go.
