Is that the Ravens LOST the game. Let’s not give credit to Allen playing and the offense playing mistake free, let’s not give the Bills defense credit for forcing 3 turnovers, or for holding Henry to 84 yards. Oh yeah, and the BEST one is everyone acts like the game was going to be a Ravens win if Mark Andrews catches that 2 point conversion. People conveniently forget that Buffalo still had 1:33 left on the clock and 2 time outs in their pocket. I’m putting all of my money on Allen to generate 40 yards of offense to get into FG range with that much time. If I’m being perfectly honest, the Bills would’ve put the game out of reach long before any of that if they just snuck it in w/ Allen, but I’ve beaten that horse to death. Lamar apologists and Ravens fans just can’t control themselves. Lamar Jackson himself gave the Bills credit. Good teams create their own luck by studying film and knowing where to be along w/ fundamentals which McDermott preaches like the Bible. It wasn’t a “lucky” win nor did the Ravens shoot themselves in the foot. The Bills defense has been absolutely nasty the entire season turning the ball over. Their TO differential is ridiculous. It should be a valid concern for every team they go against.

.

The media is talking out the other side of their mouths for some reason today. Usually, they talk about turnovers being key and how teams like KC know how to win. Today, its about yards gained and I also can't figure out why the first half was meaningless to their analysis today.

Colin Cowherd had great praise for the Bills, McDermott and the game plan.

Everything I watched post-game was praise for the Bills.

When history looks back at this game, it won't remember great plays by the Bills players.  It will remember the two back-breaking mistakes by Mark Andrews.  That is just the reality of the situation.  So I can't blame the media for focusing on that point.

The Ravens basically "Billsd" away the game.  That is the kind of way our team has been losing for years and years and years.  And from those years of experience, I can tell all the Ravens fans one cold, hard truth.  Regardless of how much people cry that your team SHOULD have won, or scream that your team was the BETTER one... nothing will change the fact that your season is over, and we are the ones playing next week.

Oh yea, The NYC radio is all over this narrative,  saying Lamar was the best on the field,  this and that excuse

All 3 turnovers were the result of great defensive plays and/or calls. Lamar got fooled and got rattled twice.

Our O did what they had to do. Just like 13 seconds,  Allen was the best guy on that field but it means nothing because they lost.

They can hate all the way til we get the Lombardi,  F em

I hear the talking heads saying the Ravens would have won had Anderson not dropped the ball. No, Ravens would have tied the game, that's all.

We had time and timeouts, but sometimes what you really need is just a few bounces to go your way. It’s time for us to get some of those bounces, we’ve paid our dues.

That's OK the bills players see this crap and it drives them. That is why I don't watch any of the shows on NFL network or ESPN or listen to the radio shows.

I agree the Ravens lost that game. Not saying Allen couldn't have won it but he didn't need to.

The Ravens lost the game.  The Bills on the other hand did not lose the game.

This was not a classic battle of teams playing brilliant ball and one-upping each other.

There is a saying…,

“Never interrupt your opponent when they are making mistakes “

And that’s just what the Ravens where doing, making mistakes..,,

The Bills didn’t make mistakes, and scored enough points to win,  it’s not that complicated, jmo.

It’s also how the media works.  Ravens lost, so today will be one the last days they can talk about the Ravens for a bit.  They have the whole rest of the week to pivot to the Bills/Chiefs matchup, and how JA and the Bills can’t get over the hump of beating the Chiefs in the playoffs.  And how the last time we were there in the playoffs it was 13 seconds, even though we’ve beaten them the last three regular season games there.

But they did lose the game, essentially because the Bills trapped them into it.

Most games in the NFL aren't won, they are lost
