Last night listened to some Rob Parker on Fox Sports Radio.

More of the same - crying that his hero Lamar was "robbed" of his moment.

"Nobody was thinking about that interception and fumble when he threw that TD pass" - yeah - but a possession is a possession and that's two that the Ravens don't score on.

This loss "shouldn't stick to Lamar".

Also took the opportunity to pile on Allen - he "wasn't good" in the game.

The media has their agenda. We heard it all week. They all had their talking points handed to them and they'll die on that hill.

It takes a monumental performance the rest of the game to make up for coughing up really good field position on two turnovers and getting stuffed on the two yard line and Lamar did not do enough.  Absolutely a below average game for him but peoples brains only can remember the last 30 minutes these days 😂. I’m all for downplaying like deep ball ints, not every INT is the same.  But he set the bills offense up really nice both times.  An absolutely horrendous holding call stopped them from probably giving up 14 off those two turnovers

they had to go absolutely perfect late td, 2 point conversion, and stopping the bills from driving down for the game winner due to Lamar’s mistakes and didn’t even make it to step 3 of that..  he came up pretty small in all the big moments…the late td that probably doesn’t win the game anyway doesn’t change everything

I watched some of Nick Wright's show yesterday on FS1.  He's been fairly nice to the Bills this season, claiming he's one of the very in National Media that didn't predict a Bills decline and knew Allen would have this team where they are right now.

Anyway, he won't say it on air but you can tell as a Chiefs fan he's nervous.  He said he's not going to clown on Buffalo this week like he did Houston and the practice games are over for KC.  Now it's going to be tough.

Is that the Ravens LOST the game. Let’s not give credit to Allen playing and the offense playing mistake free, let’s not give the Bills defense credit for forcing 3 turnovers, or for holding Henry to 84 yards. Oh yeah, and the BEST one is everyone acts like the game was going to be a Ravens win if Mark Andrews catches that 2 point conversion. People conveniently forget that Buffalo still had 1:33 left on the clock and 2 time outs in their pocket. I’m putting all of my money on Allen to generate 40 yards of offense to get into FG range with that much time. If I’m being perfectly honest, the Bills would’ve put the game out of reach long before any of that if they just snuck it in w/ Allen, but I’ve beaten that horse to death. Lamar apologists and Ravens fans just can’t control themselves. Lamar Jackson himself gave the Bills credit. Good teams create their own luck by studying film and knowing where to be along w/ fundamentals which McDermott preaches like the Bible. It wasn’t a “lucky” win nor did the Ravens shoot themselves in the foot. The Bills defense has been absolutely nasty the entire season turning the ball over. Their TO differential is ridiculous. It should be a valid concern for every team they go against.

.

I know its to justify them being wrong about their pick... The things i hate?

The defensive PI gave the bills 7.  It actually put the ball at the 12.  Buffalo ran 3 times inside and scored a TD wrapping up a 70 yard drive.  How about a little defense? It's also ignoring the garbage holding penalty on the only drive buffalo punted on in the 1st half.  It's also ignoring several OPI's mark andrews committed that went uncalled.  Cry more.  If i throw up a jump ball and your guys all over him in the lead up to the jump ball... and he can't jump because of how much contact there is... then it has to be SOMETHING.  I don't think it should matter if you get your head around if you have wrapped him up the entire lead up to the catch point.

Ravens gave the game away with mistakes.  Sure the pick is a bad throw or read or both - but you still have to catch it.  They were in 2nd and 11 after Henry was stuffed (weird... because the media would say that he was getting 10 yards a clip).  Lamar fumbled because he was wrapped up by a bills player... as in he FORCED the mistake.  And Bernard made a great play.  Give the bills defense some credit for creating 3 turnovers.  If they were unstoppable they wouldn't have kicked 2 field goals.

Andrews drop lost OT. There was a minute and a half left, we hadn't really unleashed allen the entire game and buffalo had 2 timeouts.  And while it was a drop, LJ should take some blame for pump faking and throwing that ball super late - Andrews feet ended up tangled because he knew the sideline was fast approaching.  Buffalo's 2nd half approach was methodical, and they used just about 10 or 11 of the last 15 or 16 minutes.

They set up a great scenario - you need 8 points.

I can stop you and its game over.

I can stop the conversion, and then its an onside kick.  Borderline game over just because of the percentages here.

You can score 8, and you still have to give Allen the ball... with 1:33 on the clock.

KC is afraid of Buffalo.  Buffalo is like a rising tide, about to flood Arrowhead.  Its been building for 17 games.  Familiarity breeds contempt.  5-5 the last 10 meetings.  Bills have KOed the top contenders.  KC struggles against mediocre teams, and eek out wins.  KC knows they are in for the fight of their life.  JA17 gives them nightmares

It also completely ignores the work buffalo put in to set up that scenario.  21-19.  Bills drive 37 yards in 10 plays and kick a FG to go up 5.

Ravens scored a TD on the previous possession... so according to the media that immediately means they will again.  Well they fumbled again.

Buffalo gets the ball at their 46 and drives down to the 2, kicks a FG to set up final drive for baltimore.  Lamar made some amazing plays and they scored, but buffalo took so much time off of the clock that they had to play hurry up the rest of the way, in a 1-possession game that they could not win.

But yea - no credit to the bills offense.

Those long drives basically neutralized the ravens ability to use Henry. The signed Henry to close out a game like this and the Bills took him out of the game with their own long drives

a couple of points here... one of which I am sure gonna get me into trouble lol....

Chiefs get this quite a bit especially this year... they should have lost, if it didnt doink off the goal post, how did they miss that kick, they were stale and outplayed... they got lucky, the refs cheated (although they do lol) not being a Chiefs apologist but I do think good teams get a certain degree of that when they dont utterly dominate... people see they arent perfect.. and hone in on it.

I like we are getting that... I think they are fueling off of the nay sayers... Josh seemed a little back to you in his interview when he said "everyone said they were too small, didnt have enough pro bowlers..." or whatever... so hey, talk down to them... Just beat KC

With regards to the Baltimore game... quite honestly, the dropped conversion clearly was a downer in that game for the national media... the preferred option would have been... Lamar ties it up and goes into OT and we have a fantastic finish, OR and what I think was fairly likely to happen and would have clearly been better for the Josh narrative...  Josh gets the ball... drives the team down the field for a last second score to win the game...

Bottom line... I could care less about any of it... literally... care bleeping less... just win and move on... then do it again... let em talk speculate, pontificate or other wise spin their own narrative... awesome... score more points than the other team how ever you do it.

I was watching pti on youtube last night and Michael Wilbon said he has been rooting for the ravens for reasons he cant get into.......Isn't he a bears fan?

what does that statement mean?

also just to nitpick, Jackson was not perfect on the final drive.  He started the drive by missing a wide open Isiah likely. If he hit him they score sooner and the bills can not just take a knee.  Why that gets overlooked I don't understand.

“Sean McDermott and Bobby Babich put together a beautiful plan and changed their identity COMPLETELY.”

McDermott has learned from all of the playoff pain.  So has JA#17.   Not to mention Beane being willing to make offseason changes like the Diggs trade. This is a different Bills team and arguably better.  In years past, the Bills would have choked the game away. Now on to KC, time to slay that dragon.

In summation, Lamar has 3 turnovers, and the media makes excuses exonerating Lamar.  If Josh has 3 turnovers, Josh is a turnover machine

Exactly he’s sugar Josh he’s inaccurate and reckless. Lamar is carrying water for a lot of pundits who see everything through the racial lens. Meanwhile Lamar has none of it. Loses with class and takes accountability. Let’s see if PM can do the same???

I mean, Defense is part of the team too.  The ball didn’t slip out of Andrews hands on the fumble, Bernard punched it out.

When Lamar fumbled, he had Hamlin draped all over him.

and yeah, Andrews should have caught the 2 point conversion, but they HAD to go for 2 because we had an 8 point lead with 2 minutes to go in the game. Our offense put them in that position.

Not even taking into consideration that it was not the final seconds of the game.  Allen and company had plenty of time to get into FG range, and Bass was hot that night.

We won the game.

I don’t believe that.  Wilbon is an intelligent guy.  He is above that stuff.

I watch these guys because they're in my age bracket and complain about the same things I do.  Wilbon mixes in Chicago sports in almost every segment, it's not that annoying, but his statement regarding his rooting interest in the game was odd to me as well.  I said to my wife before the show, that they were going to talk about how the Ravens lost and not why the Bills won.  I was pleasantly surprised that they gave the Bills pretty much equal time.

and I may be dead wrong here... wont be the first time... but I do believe the Bills ran a pretty conservative offense with ball security as the primary focus... playing within themselves because they knew the conditions were ripe for turnovers... very few 50/50 balls... WR open without a lot of traffic, short passes... running game... etc... Brady initially seemed off to me... but then I started thinking this is honestly part of their focus...  but I guess I will never know..

Harbaugh also screwed his team.  Got greedy on the first 2pt. conversion... What was he thinking!  Chasing points, he didn't need to tie there! If he makes 20-21 then it's tied on last TD w/PAT.  Possibly OT if Bills can't walk them off.

McD out coached Harbaugh.

I watched the game again last nite. Bills totally outplayed Ravens in first half and other than those two dud drives to start the second half were not stopped offensively the whole game.
