We definitely had two of the three best rushing defenses in the league scratching their head a bit about how we were running the ball so well the past few games.  Pretty good warmup for the KC game… you don’t get to say this often but that’s probably the worst rush defense we will see in this three game stretch lol still good but Baltimore and Denver were elite

KC had no idea how to handle the Jumbo last year's divisional round. Bills rammed the ball down their throat. The defense didn't hold up with shoe clerks and crumb bums forces into covering Kelce. Just 3 stops on the KC offense, I think that would be enough this year. I think the Bills might average 1 or 2 stops the previous playoff matchups.

The national media reaction to this game makes me realize that even after we win the Super Bowl, a large percentage of these idiots will try to cheapen it any way they can…and they will fail.

I really hate the media's treatment of Lamar more than I dislike him, but I definitely find myself rooting against him just to stick it to the talking heads.

The one thing I will give Jackson credit for was the immediate handshake with Josh Allen after the game was over....that was definitely a touch of class.

I remember about 10+ years ago when my Orlando Magic ousted Lebron and the Cavs from the playoffs on their way to the NBA Finals that year, Lebron walked off the court without shaking the hand of one single Magic player.....it was pathetic, and poor sportsmanship personified. I lost a lot of respect for Lebron that day, and it took me a while to let it go.

I also remember Mahomes poor sportsmanship when shaking Josh Allen's hand in last year's regular season win, after the Offensive Offside penalty by Toney wiped out the winning play.

Glad Lamar did not follow the example of those two.

100% agree on Lamar great player and seems like a great dude.  The people that talk about him annoy me but he doesn’t.

I gotta add that the offensive offside was not the game winning play though lol. Like the game this Sunday, bills had time to go down and score to win the game even if that play counted.  And since the td didn’t count, kc still had time to drive down and seal the game leaving us with no time to do anything but they turned it over on downs.  Those clowns treated it like a walkoff win got stolen from them but it wasn’t at all the case

Ben Volin (Boston writer) thinks KC wins 45-21

KC has a hard time scoring 45 points combined in two games

They are also saying the 1 penalty is the result of favoritism and the “fix.” Gladly ignoring the amount of flag free holding the Ravens committed

Or the helmet to helmet hit on Allen that was ignored as well.

This, exactly! It's not Lamar; it's the coddling that the National media gives him. It's a woke-like, peer-pressure-driven narrative from which they cannot dare to take themselves away. What if Josh had two turnovers? What would they be saying about him today? Exhibit A = Ryan Clark.

This short Sporting News article by Jarrett Bailey captures it perfectly: Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen will never get credit he deserves because everyone coddles Ravens QB Lamar Jackson

In summation, Lamar has 3 turnovers, and the media makes excuses exonerating Lamar.  If Josh has 3 turnovers, Josh is a turnover machine

NOT a good through by Lamont.  He's making $55 million do NOT make a bad throw.

Was it really that bad? It hit the guy right in the numbers. That's not Lamar's fault.

I hear the talking heads saying the Ravens would have won had Anderson not dropped the ball. No, Ravens would have tied the game, that's all.

And Josh had over a minute and a half to drive down the field for a field goal to win the game.

That's OK the bills players see this crap and it drives them. That is why I don't watch any of the shows on NFL network or ESPN or listen to the radio shows.

Exactly. They Do care. Listen to Allen’s post game speech.

KC is in for a rude awakening. The Bills run game is even better this year. If they can open holes against Baltimore then they shouldn’t have any problems w KC. I love that Brady has stuck w the run. Everybody thought the Ravens were going to shut it down and Josh would have to be Superman. Even myself.

That's been the dumbest and strangest take of the day so far and it's been multiple media people saying this.  With a minute and a half and two TO's left the Bills were in a great position to win the game in regulation with a FG at the end.

It’s very strange. It’s like a foregone that the Ravens would’ve took it to OT. Buffalo would’ve played it safe and took time off the clock, but given 3 chances I think Josh would’ve launched a missile to Shakir down the middle to get into the  45 yard range. There’s no reason to think Bass would’ve missed.

Yes, Lamar Jackson is a far more respectful and admirable person than Mahomes is.

In addition , this year LJ proved himself to be a good passer as well. Good dude. Mahomes is repulsive and not because he has beaten the Bills in the playoffs before.

This thread confuses me.  We shouldn't be expecting a media narrative that we ran roughshod over the Ravens because that's not what happened.  We were disciplined and opportunistic and squeaked one out, but there's no shame in that.  It's how the Chiefs have been winning literally all season.

Everyone loves the Bills, BUT,but,

Most will trash the team all week long for eliminating poor Lamar.

This will make their vote look stupid.

Hockey does this and has always done this best!

The opposing Stanley Cup Final teams, sometimes after literally beating each other senseless, over 7 games, always line up…with their war wounds…to shake hands!

For decades and decades.

If its based on the regular season Jackson edges Allen in the MVP on stats, but if you include playoffs, Allen wins. Lamar just doesnt perform at a high level in the pressure situations and doesnt seem to have the urgency that Allen does.  None of that of course matters to the National Media who want to continue with the narrative about Lamar. It seems to tick all the boxes, especially in hype filled NFL.  The fact that he cannot do it in the playoffs is conveniently omitted.

No.  But could have been a better throw. He does get paid to throw a less wobbly, tighter pitch.

Just saying... Of course needs to make do with it.  It wasn't LJ's best AND THAT'S what he's always criticized about since day #1, right?

Last night listened to some Rob Parker on Fox Sports Radio.

More of the same - crying that his hero Lamar was "robbed" of his moment.

"Nobody was thinking about that interception and fumble when he threw that TD pass" - yeah - but a possession is a possession and that's two that the Ravens don't score on.

This loss "shouldn't stick to Lamar".

Also took the opportunity to pile on Allen - he "wasn't good" in the game.

The media has their agenda. We heard it all week. They all had their talking points handed to them and they'll die on that hill.
