ChronicAndKnuckles Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Is that the Ravens LOST the game. Let’s not give credit to Allen playing and the offense playing mistake free, let’s not give the Bills defense credit for forcing 3 turnovers, or for holding Henry to 84 yards. Oh yeah, and the BEST one is everyone acts like the game was going to be a Ravens win if Mark Andrews catches that 2 point conversion. People conveniently forget that Buffalo still had 1:33 left on the clock and 2 time outs in their pocket. I’m putting all of my money on Allen to generate 40 yards of offense to get into FG range with that much time. If I’m being perfectly honest, the Bills would’ve put the game out of reach long before any of that if they just snuck it in w/ Allen, but I’ve beaten that horse to death. Lamar apologists and Ravens fans just can’t control themselves. Lamar Jackson himself gave the Bills credit. Good teams create their own luck by studying film and knowing where to be along w/ fundamentals which McDermott preaches like the Bible. It wasn’t a “lucky” win nor did the Ravens shoot themselves in the foot. The Bills defense has been absolutely nasty the entire season turning the ball over. Their TO differential is ridiculous. It should be a valid concern for every team they go against. . 7 2 16 1 9 Quote
Success Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The Patriots used to get endless praise for just playing efficient, mistake-free football - and letting their opponent beat themselves. I've noticed that about today's narrative, also - the Ravens SHOULD have won, if they just didn't turn the ball over, commit penalties and drop passes. No real credit for the Bills for making a lot of that happen, and for taking care of the ball themselves. And ONE penalty the whole game for Buffalo. 7 2 Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Personally... I LOVE it! This team plays best when they aren't getting the respect they feel they deserve. One of my concerns after this game was that now that we beat the Ravens - everyone would be talking about us as the favorite going into Arrowhead. That's not what's happening. As you said, all that's being talked about today is the Ravens losing the game, how it happened, and who's to blame. And that the Chiefs are playing in the Championship game in Arrowhead and are set to possibly 3-Peat. The Bills are continuing to fly under the radar and can continue to play with a chip on their shoulder. Edited 3 hours ago by BillsFanForever19 16 3 3 1 Quote
Mrbojanglezs Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I agree the Ravens lost that game. Not saying Allen couldn't have won it but he didn't need to. 2 2 3 Quote

wnyguy Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I hear the talking heads saying the Ravens would have won had Anderson not dropped the ball. No, Ravens would have tied the game, that's all. 3 2 Quote

RobbRiddick Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I think the media is just doing damage limitation because they feel he'll get the MVP and they're defending him now and creating the narrative so when some laugh when he wins it they have the story all set up and ready to go. If they'd won and Lamar had played the game Josh played they'd be praising him for keeping calm under pressure and not turning the ball over. 1 Quote
Brand J Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago If we scored that TD to go up 31-19 there’s no way they could say the Ravens lost the game more than the Bills won it. Also, the offensive output would’ve been quite different if Brady and co didn’t have the 21-10 lead. That was my only concern, how they turtled up in the 3rd. 2 6 1 Quote

whorlnut Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago As a Bills fan, I’ve seen this team lose in the most historically spectacular fashions, so I’m not giving a single rip how we won or what the national narrative is. Like Peter shrager said this morning…this might be the first time that something like that didn’t happen to us. I’m not going to let it bother me one bit. 4 6 Quote

You get that recognition when you consistently get to AFC title games and win several SB's. They got the credit because it was earned. The Bills haven't done anything to really get that recognition yet. Win a SB and the narrative changes. 3 Quote

Yeah, it was really annoying being all excited to tune into coverage this morning, and the only person across multiple channels that was giving the Bills any credit was Dan Orlovsky (thanks, Dan!). Everyone else was still riding the Ravens dick, saying they lost it more than Buffalo won it, blahblahblah... 2 2 Quote
VW82 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) I just think it’s funny people around these parts who in the past hand waved Bills turnovers and pointed to drops and the occasional bad play calling as a way to what if their way through convos about who was the better team/QB are now steadfast that Bills were the better team despite getting badly outplayed on both sides except for the turnovers. Bills played mistake free and we won. Ultimately, we were lucky to win, and we’ll need to be much better if we want to win next week. Edited 3 hours ago by VW82 Quote

I'm thrilled about the victory, nothing anybody says will bother me in the least Also, a lot of people are giving the Bills credit, many just choose to ignore that because it doesn't fit their own narrative. TFBillsfan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago At this point, I could care less what the media narrative is. Most are just pushing BS to drive ratings. Just find a way to get TWO more wins. I don’t care how, by what score, by stats, etc… just get the W! For everything this franchise and fanbase has endured, I won’t apologize to anyone on how we win! 2 1 Quote
