MarlinTheMagician Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago First year back - rough year. Achilles often takes two years. And we know how he works - he has a chance. He is looking pretty close, Harbaugh is not stupid and he traded for him. Bring him home as a backup at the right price. He is younger than Rasul I think. What would it cost? No idea if this could happen, but I would bet they have the conversation. 2 Quote
Magox Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I tend to agree, I've seen him play some and he has been playing pretty good man coverage. He just can't be trusted to cover a burner as that has been his liability since his injuries. 1 Quote
KingBoots8 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I wonder if he’d be open to convert to safety? That would honestly be the only way I envision bringing him back. I love Tre, I really do, but his best days are behind him 2 1 1 1 Quote

ddaryl Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Its a definite possibility considering what he played for last year and his love for Buffalo / josh etc.. Looks like he is a FA in 2025 As a situational player and a back up I would sign him quickly.. For starter money probabaly pass. 1 Quote

I don't foresee him being a starting DB any longer but he could possibly become a Nickle DB or safety. Quote
QLBillsFan Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago He’s not here for a reason. It’s unfortunate but his injuries have ended his career. No reason to bring him back. Great guy but he adds nothing to the Bills at this time. 1 3 Quote

NickelCity Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Tre cannot be a safety. That's not his game at all, lol. He's not nearly physical enough. C'mon guys. 2 1 1 Quote
Max Fischer Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I love Tre and have his jersey, but he's been horrific for the Rams and Ravens. Even with a 25% more recovery he's no where near what he was with the Bills Quote
stevestojan Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Since our next man up in the secondary is Wolf Blitzer, I’d definitely take a guy who has played the position and knows the team on a flyer. Why not? Speaking of secondary, where is Hyde? Edited 4 hours ago by stevestojan Quote
Kelly to Allen Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I generally don't mind bringing him back as he'll be fully healthy. I think at minimum he would be solid depth but there's also a part of me that says just draft youth, especially in the secondary. 21 minutes ago, QLBillsFan said: He’s not here for a reason. I don't want to admit that because I have so much respect for Tre. It's sad honestly. If he came back it would be strictly as a depth zone CB Quote
machine gun kelly Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I love Tre, but why? He gave us several good years, but these injuries have taken their toll. I thank for many fun memories. Quote

mushypeaches Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I can't believe that this is an actual message board topic the day after we won a Divisional playoff game Quote

I wouldn’t mind it but I also don’t love hed be taking a spot over a young, raw kid, with some special team upside. Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Unnecessary at this point. We’re not about to add situations here, okay pal 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago He looked not bad yesterday but it’s so hard to gauge because the Bills just don’t throw outside much. If he’s willing to come back cheap with the possibility of being a backup player than yea especially now that he’s a full year removed from a serious injury. Elam isn’t in the plans for next year and I believe Douglas walks imo so it’s draft a guy fairly high and bring in a vet to compete Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Offseason priorities are likely in no particular order: WR, DL, S, and CB. I expect some of this to come from before the draft. That being said, I don’t think Tre solves much for the Bills. One of the reasons we drafted Elam was because we don’t have a lot of speed in our secondary. So far he hasn’t been able to get on the field outside as a backup, mostly because Benford has been so good and fits the scheme better too. I can’t see them going backwards and bringing in an aging vet who lost a step prior to age through bad injuries. I think we will see us add some youth and speed to secondary over a retread, even if that retread is a former Bills great who is beloved by the team and fanbase. Now internally, if they think he has FS potential, then maybe they bring him in and try him there, but feels unlikely IMHO even though Tre was always one of my faves. Quote
