whorlnut Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Hello all…been a minute since my last post, but I just thought of something…this next game will be on the one year anniversary when my wife had her brain aneurysm. In fact, the 630 game time is almost to the minute. For the duration of the game, it will be a year since me and my kids were traveling to York, pa after she was air lifted for emergency surgery. With saying all that, it’s important to note that she absolutely loved the Bills and looked forward to game time every week. The fact that she isn’t here to see this run kills me. But this is so eerie that it feels like it’s meant to be. This team is different and we should all feel privileged to be along for the ride. Don’t take it for granted. We are living in the best times as bills fans. Thanks again to all of you who reached out and even donated on my go fund me when this happened. It will never be forgotten. Love all of you…very proud to be a part of this fanbase. 5 2 Quote
Ben Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Glad to have you with us. I think I can speak for everyone here when I offer out sincerest condolences to you and the family. Go Bills. 1 1 Quote
hondo in seattle Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Condolences for the loss of your wife and best wishes for your Bills aspirations. At this very moment, I'm wearing my "Just One Before I Die" sweatshirt though I've accepted the possibility that, after 50+ years of fandom, I may never see the Bills hoist the Lombardi. So be it. Being a Bills fan has added more joy than pain to my life. I've enjoyed the wins, but I've also relished the camaraderie with my fellow members of the mafia from blood relatives to complete strangers. All fanbases say theirs is the best but there's truly something special about ours. I hope somewhere in the Great Beyond, your wife gets to watch the Bills trounce whoever the NFC trots out against us when we do reach the SB. Quote

We married just before the summer. She sees how much I love the Bills with all my heart and wishes her boys have this passion for something. Sunday at 9:30 pm we’ll see if we’re finally back at the big dance. It feels like we can do it. 1 Quote
