Hoping it was just a deep hip contusion or something. You can get hit in the hip/side / or kidney area and it can debilitate you for a number of hours

But I have full faith in Bishop.

Depth is good too with Lewis, Jackson and Hyde in an emergency.

Bishop has made strides, but I'm not 100% confident he's ready for what's next. I'd love to be wrong though.

Don't get your hopes up. I'd even be surprised if he was ready for a potential super bowl matchup .

I’m hoping he’s going to be okay, but it sure didn’t look that way, did he leave the field under his own power? The streaming service I was watching didn’t show it,

He's gonna have to be. Multiple KC rookies played in the secondary in their 22 run.

McDermott will have them ready

Agreed.  Bishop is a second round pick (equivalent to a first round pick for a safety) and has been in the system almost a full year.  He’s got to be ready to step up and McDermott is unparalleled at developing safeties at the NFL level.  I’m far more worried about Joe Brady turning Josh Allen into a game manager…

Brady had a great game plan for KC the first game no reason to expect he won't for the 2nd game as well.

I don't think we'll see Rapp play again this year. Probably a labral tear or other hip capsule injury. The force on the hit just wasn't that crazy to where it seems like it could be a contusion. Relatively minimal force injury plus then having to be carted off usually indicates soft tissue tear and is not a great sign.

Mahomes lives to manipulate safeties with his eyes.  Bishop needs to attach himself to Hyde at the hip for extra coaching (exercising due care to avoid injury of course) and watch film until his eyes bleed this week.

Yeah, I believe he left the field and went into the tent on his own power then they called the cart.

We need Rapp imo. I think the drop off from him is pretty stark.

It is.

Brady won multiple super bowls being a game Manager. It has a negative connotation but it's what wins in these types of playoff games. Allens box score stats won't show it but that was one of Allen's smartest games he's played. Allen also had zero turnover worthy plays....

Last night was also the first playoff game where other players truly stepped up which is the sign of a great team.

I'm going to enjoy this AFC championship. Hopefully Josh Allen has his Steve Young moment

Tom Brady was a game manager only on the rare occasions where it was called for…maybe last night was just one of those occasions for Allen…
