stevestojan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago One of the benefits of moving away from WNY is you only get the national narrative on the bills, and not the local. Turns out the former thinks the bills are far superior to the latter. It’s nice. Quote
Chicagobills Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I live in Chicago and listen on the Audacy app. Jeremy and Joe are ok and I like Sal a lot. The rest is bad... I heard that Derek Kramer guy talking about Mina Kimes being the most knowledgeable in the media and ESPN should let her talk more. LOL Quote

Now, think about the type of Bills fan who wakes up in the morning and thinks "I'll call into WGR and complain about a Bills playoff win not being good enough." Im Peter in Massachusetts, and I have called often. Early in the year, I called in to to defend Mack Hollins several times Quote

SoMAn Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It’s great to hear local Bills’ talk. I listen to One Bills Live on my 20 min drives to and from work. But why is it half the faceless callers i imagine as bald whiskey-nosed retirees sitting in their dreary basement bar, drinking Utica Club, farting, and bellowing through their deviated septums about how they’ve been a fan since the days of Kemp and Sestak. The other half sound like they have some speech impediment? It’s usually the same 4 or 5 callers. To their credit, Brown and Tasker are exceptionally gracious with callers. Quote

Moved away in my 20’s for work, and thanks to the internet, I can listen to WGR for sports talk about my favorite teams. However; This morning show is awful and the callers are even worse. Maybe everyone is sobering up, or maybe they’re still drinking. But Jeremy and Joe are hard to listen to. Maybe it’s the podcast era, but these guys just aren’t leading the conversation. It’s as if they’re having their own sports talk, and the rest of us are just listening live. At least they’re talking sports. WFAN in NYC is talking about who takes ED meds and gambling and the Inauguration. I don’t know why Im posting this. Maybe someone here can explain it to me. The only people I listen to on WGR anymore are schoop and the bulldog. Jeremy and Joe are not very good, but I'm not sure what you'd expect for a monday 10 am sports show in a small market town . The dudes are probably making $50k/yr. Quote

The national media annointed the ravens as the winner of the game before it was even played. According to them the bills were "too small" to compete. Meanwhile the majority of local media thought the bills would win and continuously pointed out throughout the week how the ravens and their fans kept glossing over the fact that the last time we played them we were missing many key starters . HOUSE Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The horible people should be at work or in school today but no, its a holiday. The Buffalo Bills just beat the best team in football but the whiners are gassed Tune in tomorrow Quote

It makes me physically uncomfortable to listen to. I feel embarrassed and almost ill hearing it. I have to turn it off. She is probably a nice lady and a great Bills fan and glad to have her... but stop calling or get a new schtick. I also get annoyed when callers think they are calling the Jim Rome show and have these pre-rehearsed "tough guy" monologs. I loathe them in the Jim Rome show, they sound even worse on a conventional talk show. I heard that on my way to work, and actually thought that guy had a good call for my mood this morning. I dug it. 100% agree. 🫡 Quote

The rest of the WGR lineup is awful. One Bills Live, Marty and Duff, Schopp and Bulldog all flat out suck You do understand that OBL & Sabres Live are Pegula sponsored radio, correct? Quote
