Think about the average Bills fan. Now, think about the type of Bills fan who wakes up in the morning and thinks "I'll call into WGR and complain about a Bills playoff win not being good enough."

WGR hardly has the market cornered with malcontents.

There is already a half dozens threads in here questioning/criticizing players and coaches relating to the Win.

I listen every day and I’m way out of town, downstate. I gotta go out of my way to listen to it and the station is horrendous. It’s part of my bills season routine so I’ll keep doing it but these kids are terrible. Some of the least knowledgeable humans on earth when it comes to sports. Not even out of just sports radio guys….out of just people in general. Jeremy has always been terrible. I can’t remember the last time he made a point that I agreed with. The station is so unprofessional it’s inexcusable. I live an hour from NYC. This garbage would not fly down here. These people know absolutely nothing

Jeremy isn’t my favorite, the golf analogies, but he’s a Dad watches these games with dogs running around and 3-5 kids.

I was born and raised in Buffalo. Moved away in my 20’s for work, and thanks to the internet, I can listen to WGR for sports talk about my favorite teams.

However;

This morning show is awful and the callers are even worse. Maybe everyone is sobering up, or maybe they’re still drinking. But Jeremy and Joe are hard to listen to. Maybe it’s the podcast era, but these guys just aren’t leading the conversation. It’s as if they’re having their own sports talk, and the rest of us are just listening live. At least they’re talking sports. WFAN in NYC is talking about who takes ED meds and gambling and the Inauguration.

I don’t know why Im posting this. Maybe someone here can explain it to me.

The drunk callers are the best part. Our local radio does not take callers on any of the shows.

Earlier this week TWO hosts were praising Andy Reid for transforming the 3rd Pick Patrick Maholmes into a HOFer. 3rd round pick was repeated at least 5 times.

I find Jeremy as very likeable and a good listen. Joe is okay. Very meh. But he's newerish still. Maybe he'll grow on me. I actually enjoy the morning show on the way to work. I do mute it though when Gina from Delaware calls. She is too much. The only bad thing about the show lol.

I’ve never understood the complaints, this is exactly what sports talk radio is. It’s really no better or worse in other markets. This isn’t supposed to be the pinnacle of culture.

I would have loved to have heard callers on Columbus radio after the Michigan loss. That would have been pure radio gold.

WGR feeds into it when their postgame last night by Slop and the Bullfrog starts with them claiming Allen purposefully didnt score on the second down run when he ran it to the 2 yards line at the end of the game to "chew more clock".  They ran with it for 5 minutes as their second talking point right after the game.

Idiocy to that level only breeds openings for more of it.

Jeremy and Joe are pretty decent imo. Not better than Howard, but I can listen to them. The rest of the WGR lineup is awful. One Bills Live, Marty and Duff, Schopp and Bulldog all flat out suck

The announcers on WGR never made such statements. They expressed the same concerns we all had, but still believed the Bills could win. I don’t get why anyone would have issues with this morning’s show. 🤨

Then they too underestimated the Bills just like most of the so called "experts" that said the Bills could not win against the Ravens .

I know the D was a concern and has been all year but Bills fans here are so opinionated about coaching they don't take into consideration the coaches tenure or for that matter the players that were out .

The first meeting against the Ravens was Babich 4th game EVER calling defensive alignments or being the D coordinator, plus the now proven fact that the injury's to 3 starters and then Rapp going out in the 1st game against the Ravens was huge for this D !

And for all intense and purpose he was still learning how to be that guy and make in game adjustments just the same as McD in his all be it successful but truly short HC ing career . But most Bills fans don't care to take any of that into consideration .

This morning some Bills Mafia would be calling for Harbaugh's head today and have in the same scenario with McD . That and the fact that if the Bills get beat by the best team in the league next week they will again .

For me living in Delaware, no idea who Gina is, Its just entertainment and I enjoy it. A long time ago I subscribed to "Shout" the newspaper. Funny the news was a week old when I got it but back then it felt fresh. Its just fun listening to the different opinions. For me the Caller I like is Judy in Buffalo. :)

Bills win the Super Bowl

"Hello, we've got Judy in Buffalo."

"One thing. Next year. The defense. We intercepted 4 passes. But none of them. Knew to run after they caught it."

They need to block Gina from Delaware’s number.

I was in the shower when she called it. I ran out of the shower and turned off my blue tooth speaker.

I haven't listened to WGR in a long while. I  must say though that the call screeners are at fault here also. Unless they are literally putting anyone on the air with however bad a take they have is?

I wont listen now just to hear suckage. But that my sports city radio sucks in Buffalo s disappointing. It must be the folks with good imput post here and not call?

Yep

🙂

Block Gina from Delaware  please

She is the worst.  I don't listen to WGR much but I always seem to catch her calls... or maybe she just calls all the time?

It makes me physically uncomfortable to listen to.  I feel embarrassed and almost ill hearing it.  I have to turn it off.  She is probably a nice lady and a great Bills fan and glad to have her... but stop calling or get a new schtick.

I also get annoyed when callers think they are calling the Jim Rome show and have these pre-rehearsed "tough guy" monologs.  I loathe them in the Jim Rome show, they sound even worse on a conventional talk show.

great take

I heard that on my way to work, and actually thought that guy had a good call for my mood this morning.  I dug it.
