dave mcbride Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) The Rams, Lions, Ravens, and Texans all had more yardage than their divisional round opponents and all of them lost. Has that ever happened?!? (A comment from @zow2 made me look this up.) Edited 11 hours ago by dave mcbride 1 Quote

Big Turk Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) Teams that don't make mistakes and capitalize on other teams mistakes usually win these games. Yardage can get wonky with other teams playing catch up. Edited 10 hours ago by Big Turk 1 Quote
Mikie2times Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I prefer yards per play. Houston outplayed the Chiefs, I think that much was obvious. Eagles Rams was down to the wire. Then turnovers really impacted the other two games. Usually the YPP winner tends to win outright, even more so than with total yards. Not perfect, but better. Yards Per play 5.2 Houston vs 4.2 Chiefs 5.7 LA Rams vs 5.7 Eagles 7.7 Detroit vs 6.6 Washington 7.3 Baltimore vs 4.6 Buffalo 1 Quote

During the drought years, we had some teams with playoff-level talent, but frequently shot ourselves in the foot. Quote

zow2 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I think i saw that the playoff teams with a minus turnover ratio are 0-7. As i mentioned in the other thread, the mistakes are hurting teams more than the nice flashy plays are helping. You need a few plays of course, but turnovers are going to make you lose, period, end of story. Bills are not playing risky football right now. Quote

I knew our game was bad but I didn't know it was that bad. Quote
