Nephilim17 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (Did a Search and did not find and thought it deserved its own space. Mods, please merge with another thread if you think that's where it belongs.) Just read an article about the exchange between Lamar and Josh after the game. After Josh Allen ended the game with a kneel down, the Bills quarterback made a beeline for Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. As the two embraced, the quarterbacks could be seen exchanging messages. Nothing was caught on camera, but Jackson shared what he told the Bills quarterback following the win. Jackson’s message? Go win. “Great players recognize greatness,” Jackson told the media following the Ravens’ loss. “We both recognized each other, you know? But I told him, ‘Man, go get something, go win something, man. MVP, Super Bowl, do something. I want him to be successful.” I know we're supposed to hate the Ravens but my respect for Lamar, which was already quite high for his playing ability, shot up after reading this. Was it just optics and done to look good? Maybe, but I doubt it. After the monumental weight of a huge playoff loss, MVP-caliber players are emotional and say what they're feeling, I would strongly suspect. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2025/01/ravens-lamar-jackson-has-two-word-message-for-bills-josh-allen-following-divisional-round.html 4 4 1 Quote
Sweats Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I watched a lot of Lamar when he was playing for Louisville and he's always been a solid act and a stand up guy. 3 1 1 Quote
Pete Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago They say you can tell a lot about a mans character by how he wins. But you can tell even more about a mans character how he loses. Lamar pure class. When asked about Andrews drop, Lamar said he dropped the ball and threw a horrible interception. He owned it, and oozed class. Aaron Rogers shunned responsibility and threw WR under the bus. Bills beat KC, and Mahomes first instinct is to run to Josh and cry about the officiating, Its a lasting image I cant forget. And a horrible look for Mahomes. Josh Allen was super classy in all 3 losses to KC. Hes gracious in victory and defeat. 3 2 1 Quote

Makes me feel ashamed of how I might react in the same situation!😅 Quote
frostbitmic Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago When Josh and Lamar had their post game embrace you could see the smile on Lamar's face and you could tell it was genuine. The media may overdo him a bit but he is a great QB. 2 Quote
RedandBlue Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Completely agree. Mahomes is a great player but he will always be a B in my eyes. That will be the one thing I always remember. Never seen a “leader” act more entitled and pathetic following a loss. Lamar and Josh are polar opposites compared to Mahomes. 1 1 Quote
Don Otreply Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Lamar like Josh is a good guy and a damn good QB, The worst part of fandom is the ten percent that gotta “hate” something, life’s to short for that kind crap! Quote
