Mack makes plays every game.  He is a special teams demon, punishing blocker, and leads the Bills in TD catches.   Keon couldn't separate in college, and he can't separate in the NFL.  Amari doesnt block, but has made huge catches that have contributed to Bills wins.

What has Kincaid done?

I think people forget that Kincaid had 70+ receptions and 700 yards last year while predominantly being a blocker. I just don’t think he’s been as utilized this year of the focus has been on him more as the # 1 Receiever going into the year. He also blocks for a run game that has been pretty dominant all year. They also rarely stretch him down the field which is on Brady more than Kincaid

He made that flat out drop on the sliding catch that cost us the drive on the opening second half drive. That was it for him.

It wasn't a "sliding catch drop"......he sipped on his cut because of the icy field, was falling when the ball got there, then the ball hit him in the shoulder pad instead of the hands because he was falling......why are people looking for things to complain about after a big victory...... don't get it.

In a game with 22 total pass attempts we don’t need a thread about every single player that didn’t have many targets.  It applies to everyone but Shakir.  This isn’t fantasy football.

3 credited catches last week...one of which shouldn't have counted.

I don't think it's unreasonable to ask why premium draft picks aren't contributing more than they are.

Miserable Bills history. Honestly I don’t know what Bills fans are going to do or know how to act if we win a SB. I’ve questioned myself on it. I’m coming up on 40 and will the hunger be gone because we finally got the brass ring

he had two hands underneath the ball.  Many TEs would of caught that

Still, it is not a "drop"......Mark Andrews actually dropped a catch much easier and much more important, and he has been a stud TE for years.

In terms of Catch Rate- that is a drop.  Shakir caught 27 catches in a row, when targeted.  Kincaid had a 58.7% catch rate this year. For comparison, Mark Andrews has always had a catch rate 80-85% his career.

Kincaid by any metric is underwhelming

I think opposing defenses are rightly recognizing that the Bills' best pass catchers reside in the middle of the field.

Shakir, Kincaid, Knox.

As such, they tend to focus most of their attention on shutting down those players, and the Bills -- at this moment -- largely don't have the horses on the outside to make defenses want to play any other way.

In order for things to open up for the tight ends and even increase opportunities for Shakir, the Bills need to improve their outside receiver position in the offseason. Maybe Cooper gets more fully integrated in the offense, maybe Coleman takes second year strides, or maybe they draft a guy or sign one in free agency.

Until the Bills improve at outside WR, we can likely continue to expect opposing defenses to focus on taking away the TEs and Shakir.

I suspect a season long injury,  stay tuned AFTER the Bills win the Superbowl

More like Brady just isn't using our TE group adequately. His second half play calling was dismal last night. He brought the run game back but he's neutered the passing attack to a degree... Not such a fan of his unlike many others. We'll see ...

If I had to guess, he is just not the first option most of the time. Sort of getting the scraps in this “everybody eats” offense.

I do think he has the potential to have a Kelce-like impact if he were the main target out there.

im sorry but if he has kelce like potential he should be eating more

  • Pete changed the title to Dalton Kincaid- why so underwhelming this season?

The bills heiarchy used to be:

Josh > Beane > McDermott

But I'm now at :

Josh > McDermott > Beane

The talent on this team is lacking compared to other playoff teams (only 2 pro bowlers) but McDermott is getting the most out of them.

I disagree vehemently. Beane has done a masterful job. Switching from Morse to McGovern was brilliant. Transitioning centers can be a huge destabilizer and Beane had the foresight to bring in a guard the year before anticipating this legacy move.

All this to say, the Bills O line is premium. Every time I hear the Bills roster is "lacking", I realize how much of a bias exists is assessing rosters. People focus so much  on skill positions, I'd say overall this is one of the best retooling years I've ever seen. Hell, we were supposed to lose the division to the Jets!

Beane deserves his due!

National media and most fans likes the sizzle and not the steak that’s why they didn’t think the Bills were good. That’s why the national media loved the Dolphins cause they were flashy

We only threw 22 times, and the Ravens flooded the middle of the field to take that away. I'd have liked to see Kincaid run some seams, but I think better days are ahead for him.

Yeah teams with a good LB corp can do that. I think KC will try to do exactly that with Bolton and Tranquil. Both Brady and Babich are gonna need some new looks if we're gonna have a chance. I hope they get creative on both sides. They're gonna have to.

How did we get to catch rate??

A poster said that particular play was a drop by Kincaid, and I showed why it was not a drop.

Complaining and nit-picking about your team after a big win is annoying.

Its like saying: "I asked Natalie Portman out on a date, and she said yes, but then I had to pay for the dinner." Give me a break!

Kyle Hamilton is what happened.

The plan wasn’t to go at him.

I can’t believe how good he is…no one will say this because he’s a safety but he’s got a case for best player in the nfl lol
