Kelly to Allen Posted yesterday at 10:59 AM Posted yesterday at 10:59 AM Just now, Pete said: There is a fine line between hope and folly. playoff game against the Ravens- Spencer Brown played 100% of snaps- 61 Shakir 61% 41 plays Benford 98% 58 plays Dalton 51% 31 plays. One drop, one catch. Bills had 3 rushing TDs in a 27-25 game- thank you Spencer Brown! Shakir had 67 yards receiving, over half of Josh’s total yards. Benford has a 82.6 PFF coverage rating season long, 4th in the NFL. so it is obvious that Shakir, Brown, and Benford played a large part in beating Baltimore. How did Dalton help Buffalo win last week? My statement was that Brown, Shakir, and Benford were bargain draft selections who contribute heavily to Buffalos success, and that Dalton only provides a small fraction comparatively. You disagree. Please explain. “In my opinion Dalton will be Kelce” is not logical or sensible. He's off to one of the best starts in NFL history for a te if you project his numbers for when he was hurt this year.... I think he's going to have a big game today so we'll see Quote

He's also a hybrid te/wr. The only person in his class of skills, instinct and position flex is Kelce. If Kincaid didn't get banged up it's one of the best starts in NFL history for a te in his first 2 years. His only slight regression this year has been learning to deal with double teams and teams best CB It will go down as beanes second best pick in the Allen era imo.... I also believe he is going to be huge on Sunday You’re on an island all by yourself. but feel free to tell everyone you know how much better Kincaid is than Bowers and LaPorta. 1 1 Quote

Dopey Posted yesterday at 12:47 PM Posted yesterday at 12:47 PM (edited) If espn is right, we were 2nd in the league in scoring during the regular season. Through 2 playoff games, guess who’s 2nd in scoring. Yep, Brady and our offense. The old cliche “it’s a team game” rings true. Guess what I’m trying to say is Who Gives a Rats Ass!?! Do you think Beane is thinking: “Let’s get him the ball, dammit! He was a first round pick, after all! If not, our knowledgeable fans will complain.”.😂😂😂😂😂 Andrew’s has probably the worst game of his career and it’s OUR TE is getting brought up by the OP?! Wow! Josh has played great. Cook, Ty, Davis have played great. Oline has been stellar. WRs, Gilliam, and Knox have been getting it done. We have 2 first round picks on offense. Josh is all world. The second first round pick has been disappointing, and has little to do with Bills offensive success this season and playoffs. Quote

Where are they now? Yep, kicking back and watching is today. Wondering who’ll be the first to complain about us trading back and letting the Chefs get Worthy. Pete? Quote

Pete? only at TBD are fans moping about what a disappointment our starting g TE is, comparing he to other players. why Why WHY s he such a disappointment. on the cusp of the AFC championship @-@ it's a free chat. The "like" in this thread is daunting I tell you. Lets drag him some more . PFFT Edited yesterday at 12:59 PM by muppy Quote
Pete Posted yesterday at 01:00 PM Author Posted yesterday at 01:00 PM Kincaid is 98th in receptions, 110 in yards, 116 in touchdowns, and 150th in yards per catch. He doesn’t block or play special teams. is this good production for a first round pick? Don’t you expect more from a first round pick? 1 1 Quote

You said the Bills were second in the playoffs in points. Dalton is averaging 29 YPG in the playoffs. I am not the biggest Kincaid fan but I think we can do better, and I bet Beane agrees. To my eye, as good as Brady has been and as much as it’s hard to find too many faults, I think the Kincaid/Shakir overlap as “slot” players has been too much to figure out for him. They basically have the same role which makes it pretty difficult to scheme around imo. And with our emphasis on running the football and needing an inline TE in which Knox is better suited for, it’s going limit Kincaid a bit. Where Kincaid would thrive is a more spread offense with Cooper/Coleman on the boundary and both Kincaid and Shakir lined up off the line. Bills don’t wanna seem to do that too much. Quote

Sure he’s not run blocking for Cook, Ty and Davis? Sure he’s not setting “picks” on certain routes to free other players? You sound like a stat checker. I really doubt you look at things like this. Why? Maybe cuz you tried saying we have 2 first round picks on offense. Sure about that? Hint: Cooper. 1 Quote
