Actually, that's something that's really upsetting me.  A lot of people are saying they dropped a two-point conversion that would have led to OT. Um...still time left.  Regulation was not over at that point.

Something my wife has to keep reminding me " if you let morons bother you it is on you". Which is why I don't watch much of the talking heads. They all seem to be happy being stupid.

.........exactly.

What i've been trying to say all thread long (and probably not real coherent about it) is that with 1:33 left on the clock, there is no guarantee what the outcome will be. As a Bills fan, it's easy to say that JA would have put on the cape and "willed" the team down to FG range to win the game, however realistically, the chances of us going 3 and out and handing the ball back to the Ravens with just under a minute left was a real possibility, as we didn't really move the ball successfully in the 2nd half.

The Bills drove the ball down field easily on the drive just before the Ravens last drive.  Indeed, the Bills effed up by failing to score the TD, which would have ended it.

They had one left after their last offensive possession that they used rather spitefully after we sealed the game 🤣

I meant the Bills having two time outs left.

So, Larry (our office Ravens fan) actually brought up a good point this morning.......

Even if Andrews caught the 2-point conversion and tied the game, there was still 1:33 on the clock, which he believed the Bills would have had plenty of time to go down the field and score a FG to win the game anyways.

I don't know, man........we weren't having a lot of success in large plays all game long, so the chances of the Ravens suddenly just allowing us to march down the field seems suspect.

Thoughts?!?

Exactly right.  Somehow I think they would have opened up the offense when it counted and got in makeable FG range. Or won the game in OT.

In the post game coach Cower mistakenly thought the game would have gone directly into OT after that play.  BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO !

You're the guy who just realized today that the Bills go to the Super Bowl if they beat the Chiefs on Sunday.

Am I right?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking at the time. Even if they tied it up, the Bills had plenty of time. I think they had two time outs as well? Not totally sure on that.

Yes.  The Bills had two time outs left.  I was mistaken in another post that I thought we had 3.  They used the one in discussing the FG when we were at the 2 yd line.  I was just happy McD didn't use any when the Bills were on defense.

The Bills had an excellent game plan. I believe that they were intentionally focusing on driving the ball down the field and taking time off the clock. One of their better game plans all year actually.

Why would that be Suspect? It's not like we didn't drive on them at all. They just took the ball down to the 2 yard line the drive before that they had to settle for a fg on. Bass hit a 51 yard kick earlier. You don't think Josh could drive them to the Ravens 33 yard line. Of course the consertive game plan they were running in the second half would need to be chucked out the windrow.
