I think Henry Jones started as a rookie in the 1991 AFC championship. I can't remember. One of my all time favorite bills

I would be surprised if that was the case.  I don't remember him playing at all as a rookie except on ST.  Different times back then.

Marv sounds excellent for being 99, his mind is still sharp and I can only hope to be in that sort of condition at that age.

We can only hope to be that age, period.

Every single team in the league including the Chiefs passed on Keon Coleman in the first round.

If Worthy needs this to get motivated for the AFC championship game, I'm not worried.

He's projecting. Nothing is more motivating to BUFFALO than the story of this team and their journey to this moment along with the heartbreak of 13 seconds

This team is going to play like champions and with their hair on fire 🔥

Hope Cole doesn’t read about how big of a game this is then 🙃

I think he understands it's a big game.

But he doesn't have the weight of 3 playoff losses to KC in 4 years, including an AFCCG and 13 seconds on his shoulders.

Watching the 2020 AFCC on Pluto right now. Holy ***** Edmunds is worse than I remember. Dude is getting picked on every single snap. Reading poorly, late to react, just terrible. So much athletic talent.

Pretty sure it was Leonard Smith and Mark Kelso holding down the Safety spots that day.

I am willing him to give him a pass in that game. It was 2020. He was only 15.

That's right. What I recall is that Levy refused to play Henry in the Super Bowl that year when I think Smith was injured, opting to play a veteran bench player instead. Henry, who would turn out to be excellent when finally allowed to play the next year, sat on the bench while the secondary got torched. I would be surprised if he played in the AFCC the week before.

I don’t know why I had this thought. Imagine we win the Super Bowl. Bishop starts then flash forward like 10 years, tail End of Josh’s career and we play in another one. And then the only 2 guys still remaining from

that first super-bowl team are John and Bishop. This is the stage we are at now…no reason delusional fantasies

But he was only 7 years old for that game. Cut him some slack!

I watched the 93 championship game on YouTube today. Wanted to feel the feeling of a big win. Now I got this playoff game from last year on. Never rewatched it. I’m not looking forward to the end but feel good knowing we got a real life shot at redemption. Seeing how close we got…now I’m pissed again that Bass is going to miss this

Conspiracy theory alert:

I wonder if they're trying to hide the fact he has the flu and are trying to keep him away from the team.

There was a Buffalo radio guy on a KC show as a guest yesterday, and he did say that there was an illness going through the locker room.

Any update on the flu going around the team? Heard it around the grapevine that 12/13 players got it this week?

Everyone is fine and ready man. Relax lol

Wouldn't worry too much about the flu, the drugs these teams can shoot players up with it won't even matter

So I saw on the Chiefs board that Buffalo lost to the New England Patriots and can't possibly be thinking Superbowl.  AND....AND nobody even bothered to challenge that statement.

What a bunch of idiots

.

Someone should point out they got shutout by Denver, and a week later we beat the Broncos 31-7 😃

I think you’re right on the L. Smith injury, and I believe it occurred in that AFCC game vs Broncos. He may have missed the Super Bowl a couple weeks later. A staph infection maybe? Anyway, he used to go around the perimeter of the field whipping the crowd into a frenzy and I remember him doing that for the AFCCG. Don’t recall if Jones started the SB or not.
