I agree with a fair amount of man-to-man and being aggressive vs sitting all game in a passive zone getting picked apart.  The Baltimore success rate by coverage splits certainly backs that up as well.  I hope if that is the plan, Douglas does not find his way on Worthy.  Keep him on Juju or Hopkins.  Worthy's speed vs Douglas will be no bueno in man-to-man and a big play waiting to happen.

Even if Benford can't play, it's not like we'd have a JAG coming in for either him or Rapp, or a situation like last year w/ Klein.   We have high-round draft picks at each position who bring different strengths to the table & will hold it down fine.  Elam has a nose for the ball - he might end up getting a game-changing pick if he's called upon.  Bishop is fast & athletic and has gotten good experience in the regular and last week.

 

Still, I feel confident Benford will be out there on Sunday.

 I hope Bills mix it up again as well as last weekend 4-3 , heavy nickel and standard , and dime personnel .

To be fair, I watched Rapp get cooked deep for six on the very first drive against the Broncos.

I don't think deep coverage is the strength of ANY of our safeties, Rapp included.

We need to be able to run the ball on this game. Josh bailed us out last time against the chiefs converting a ton of 3rd and longs. 

 

Oh the other side it's all about getting to Mahomes quickly.

Rapp is a downhill player by nature. Saw that play and had my first freak out about the game 🙃

That was a miscommunication on the back end , I read somewhere. But yes , they aren't catching anyone from behind thats for sure !

More man coverage this week, please. Elite QBs tear up our zone defense annually in the playoffs. KC's receivers are pretty average overall. Don't be afraid to man them up and don't be afraid to blitz Mahomes. The book on stopping their offense has changed.

I know that won’t.. and shouldn’t play all man.  But they absolutely have to play more man coverage than in the past playoff losses and time the coverages better!   
 

Patty will eat the zone up!     This may very well decide the game.. how much man vs zone they play.

Bishop's speed is only a blessing if he knows where to go with it.  I hope he's been an A+ student of the game since he last took meaningful snaps.
