Yeah Bishop is improving  and has got the athletic ability  … Patty will be going after him though, so he is going to need to be ready for the game of his life

Of the three injured players, Rapp is definitely the one we can most afford to be without.

That being said, the deep speed of Worthy and Hollywood Brown makes the prospect of a rookie starting at safety a little bit scary.

Possibly. Bishop is one of our fastest dbs. He is legit 4.4 speed 

 

I expect buffalo to play lots of cover 2 and force KC to be patient.

I think Bishop gets a chance to shine. Hyde and Rapp will work with him as much as possible.

I expect Rapp to play. He is a gritty solid dude.

Yeah that’s what I see too.

 

Go back and watch the 2nd Jets game, the Texans game, at Detroit, Playoff Ravens. 
 

They’re trying to keep it very simple for him, he bails out of snaps and just runs backwards. 
 

They’re just trying to keep everything in front of him.

 

But he still acts lost most of the time, there are no anticipation tackles, he doesn’t close, there is too much space, he’s late, he doesn’t get off blocks well and just in general is not a violent player.

 

I’d rather see Cam Lewis out there, because I know he can cover.

 

Bishop’s speed is negated by his tentative play and him playing so far back.

I don't think you can rely on Rapp next year as a starter.  Will need to fill both safety spots this offseason.  Going back to his Ram days, just way too injured.  He plays too reckless.

yesterday was only a walkthrough so no actual drills that involve physicality and such.

 

 Although usually the estimate from Wednesday to Thursday’s “actual” status doesn’t get worse, if I recall.  So I dunno.

Bummed that it’s looking more and more like no Rapp. That said, I’m not hearing any excuses about our chances in this game because of his absence. You have everyone you need on offense. Go outscore these dickheads and play the talented rook at safety.

There is no way they would have him attacking the sled so violently and suddenly if they thought it was anything serious with his hamstring.  Those are exactly the type of moves that would reaggravate it.
