The Bills have no fewer than 25 coaches on staff as well as assistants and paid interns. You would definitely hope that the team has reached out to the league for final clarification on Dawkins' "Ice Pick" move. (Spencer Brown has adopted the move too) If I were the Bills I would ask the NFL for a definitive statement and certainly not just leave it to chance. On the plus side, for the second week in a row a Bills O-lineman has gotten away with pulling the ball carrier without being called for a penalty... it is legal to push the ball carrier. I've been yelling at my TV the last few games. Turns out NFL doesnt care. Glad we were ahead of the trend and are ready. Even if they are not great at the WR position, Mahomes , Kelce and others can do enough damage on the score board. Imo , the game plan will be different from that against the Broncos and Ravens and we will tilt towards more passes of the short to medium variety. Look for Shakir, Knox and Kincaid to be more involved and perhaps Coleman on crossers. Agree. best way to avoid the KC devil magic is to blow it out of the water. Sorta what happened last game. Josh blew it up with that run; else we know it wouldve been a stupid final drive. 33 minutes ago, BuffaloBillsGospel2014 said: These aren't the same Chiefs from 2020, Mahomes isn't the same Mahomes but if we leave Travis Kelce open all day like he was against the Texans we're not winning this game. I'd like to see McDermott pull a Belichick and take away the Chiefs best player in Kelce by double covering him. The defense needs to get to Mahomes or at least disrupt the timing because if we go into this game thinking Taron Johnson is going to single cover Kelce we're toast (He got lit up by Rashod Bateman and someone named Wallace all game). TB >> Al Shaair. Al Shaair is fun but was leaving Kelce open all day. The diving TD by Mahomes is a great example. Kelce just shuffles behind Al Shaair and is wide open to catch a ball that wasnt zipped in there. If you look at the film from the first game TB was seemingly breaking coverage assignment to go cover Kelce. Think to some degree thats why Gray had such a big day. Most people didn't "see" us beating the Ravens... Deep down the Chiefs fans, players and coaches fear the Bills more than any other team in the NFL because unlike the other teams we actually beat you consistently and have been a razor's edge away from doing it in the playoffs more than once. At some point that regular season dominance is going to carry over into the playoffs and I think it is going to start this year. At this point, you are essentially a divisional opponent as it's the 9th time we are meeting since 2020. And 17 usually takes care of divisional opponents when it matters. KentuckyBillsFan Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago For my mental health I'm assuming we lose this weekend and I'll be satisfied with the progress we made this year and optimistic with the fact that we have cap space and a lot of draft picks. If we win, I'll be pleasantly shocked. 2 Quote

While going to Arrowhead is never easy, I do think the Bills match up well against the Chiefs. 1 2 Quote

YoloinOhio Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago What did McDermott say about Milano yesterday? I can’t find it. Seems like people think he might be injured but can only find what he said about Benford and rapp. Quote

It’s not a popular mindset maybe, but I told myself all year long that getting to the AFC Championship with this team’s current construction, player transition and cap ramifications would be a successful season, bar none. With that said I think we most definitely can beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead this year, but it’s going to be quite a challenge and I fear the wrongly timed bad call or 3 swaying the game. cautiously hopeful Quote
Billsfanatic8989 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I just researched. No NFL team has ever defeated another team in the postseason four times in a five year span. A loss would be historic. You have to wonder if the refs would dare make the calls they made Saturday against the Texans in Orchard Park (Chiefs@Bills). The fact this is in KC makes it tough. Quote
zow2 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago My general feel about the Ravens game, was despite the disparity in yardage and 3rd down efficiency...., the home crowd, weather and atmosphere in Orchard Park willed us to victory and helped cause the Ravens mistakes. It will be hugely important to not lose the turnover battle in KC. Even a minus 1 will be tough to overcome. I would take a 0-0 turnover ratio in this game. But without taking huge risks I do think the Bills will need more big plays from JA17 to win this one. Unless James Cook breaks off some long TD runs like Saquon, I don't think Allen will get away with throwing only 20 passes or whatever. He will also need to scramble 12-14 times I'm thinking. Quote
ShortBusGrizz Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Bears fan here. Congratulations on reaching the AFC Championship game. I've been a fan of your quarterback since his days at Wyoming. We all knew he was special, and I am glad he is playing for a great franchise. It is my sincere hope that this is the year Buffalo wins it all. The team deserves a championship, the city deserves a championship, and most importantly, the long suffering fans deserve a championship. Your team is exactly that - a great team with great leaders that truly care about each other. Good luck on Sunday. Here's to a Buffalo victory, and then on to the Superbowl. The rest of the world will be watching what could be one of the greatest sports stories ever told. Go Bills! 3 5 11 Quote

McD honestly looked like he had no idea that one of is best defensive players missed the last bit of the game. He said he had not heard from his training staff because they get in later in the day. It was awkward and weird response. Was reported on twitter that he banged knees with Lamar on his last play in the game, and was seen standing on the sidelines the rest of the time (no medical tent, no trainers giving him attention). How many times have two playoff teams played eachother 4 times in a 5 year span out of curiosity. just the collision course these two teams are on every year feels historic before you even get to results 1 Quote
