or how about the 1993 AFCCG against KC? Thurman had 190 yards. What made that game so memorable was how vaunted that KC run defense was, and how they shut us down during the regular season.  I was super nervous heading into that game!

The best game of Thurman's career.

I remember in the 92 AFC championship on the road in Miami, Thurman and Davis were the entire offense running and catching screens. Completely outclassed the dolphins

It's funny how alot of what I've seen from kc fans this week is that the whole "refs favor the Chiefs" thing is total garbage and not true. I mean, really? Look I know the bills have gotten some favorable calls this season a few times, but cmon...

My favorite part of this is the last time they had more penalty yardage was against Brady in the superbowl haha.  So when the other guy that got all the calls was involved, the chiefs committed a bunch of penalties and their dbs got called for their handsy coverage.  The second that guy was no longer a factor the chiefs supposedly never committed many penalties again 😂 kind of a double whammy in the ‘do refs favor certain teams’ discussion lol

Where does the tie game come from Josh Allen in white on white? Are you counting the Bills/Bengals no-contest as a tie?

I just have it there as a no contest.  I just have it as a place holder bc it has no spot.  I could do 16-11 1 NC but just havent

This game needs to be a James Cook - Josh Allen run special. The Chiefs have been terrible against the run since the Bills beat them in Week 11. Getting something like 200 yards plus and controlling the clock would lead to the best chance of winning in my opinion. Can the Bills O-Line dominate the Chiefs like they did in the first game?

Mix in some Ty Johnson too, and a few carries for Davis. Sometimes Johnson seems to get the tougher yards.

Fwiw though, those were pretty much all home games. Not saying the Chiefs don’t get favorable calls, but a lot more procedure type penalties for visitors vs home.

He can definitely carry it a few times. I feel like he will have a few catches this week. KC seems to have trouble with RBs/TEs in pass coverage

The other part of this narrative, that requires quite a bit more effort, is how many times KC had a drive extended by a penalty, or their opponent had one cut short.

It’s amazing how lopsided it is when you look at raw numbers like number of penalties and yards.  But how many times have we seen a 3rd and 10+ pass fall incomplete, but wait… defensive holding. 5yds and a first down.    That’s a small penalty for yards, but extremely impactful.   Or the opponent is trying desperately to get back into the game, finally gets a huge 3rd down conversion only to have it come back due to a ticky tack call.

I suspect the penalty yards to be far more equal tomorrow with all this attention it’s been given,

but it’ll be interesting how many KC drives are extended due to a BS call or how many times Kelce is allowed to push our defender down just to watch defensive holding called at a key time.

Bills gotta be feeling good for this game. Sacking Mahomes for the first time in a playoff game will feel really good, but not as much as 50 for 300 on the ground.

We didn’t have Spencer Brown playing Week 11. Spencer Brown playing this week is a bigger swing than Taylor Rapp being out.

Brown is great, but VanDemark is outstanding OT depth…not sure there’s a huge drop off.  Believe me, KC would love to have VanDemark on Sunday.

This is one of those situations where one guy is good and one guy is amazing imo so there is definitely a big falloff but vandemark is good at the same time the way I see it

callin it a falloff isn’t meant to take away from how vandemark played at all lol
