Isn’t the common narrative for why Josh looked off against cincy that he was going through some personal stuff? I don’t get why this will have a positive effect.

That was the season when things started to go sideways with Diggs.  He suddenly stopping doing media midway through the season and seemingly exploded this game.

This QB/coach deserves some benefit of the doubt given what they've achieved to this point even if their offense has only been good enough this year. Discounting the Chiefs after everything they've done to our defense over the years seems way overly confident. 

 

Ok, I can understand about Brown, however the other players you mentioned has been playing more than enough games in that offense. 

 

Brown being back does make a difference, I'd still find it unexpected when considering everything about both teams. For me, I'm considering "everything" we've learned about both KC and Bills this season (performance, players, injuries etc), and also the history of both these teams. So that being said, I would be somewhat surprised if now in the AFCCG Bills allow this game to be the 1st time

Obviously teams are going to have a losing record in that scenario, but the Bills record in that scenario is third worst in the NFL......that was the surprising part to me.

Its free. Short read but it kinda made me feel better about Cole being in there.

I'm hoping Babich actually does some things this game to recognize and account for Bishop being on the field, and not just run schemes without any consideration - not just "next man up"

what makes Kelce so good is he and mahomes can pretty much read eachothers minds on those scramble drill type plays, he doesn’t have that rapport with the other two guys. Can’t remember who I was arguing with about this haha but rice was basically irreplaceable this year because of how much time he’s spent in the offense.  Adding Hopkins and getting brown ‘back’ hasn’t really mitigated that 
 

 

Fair enough about Pacheco. He hasn't exactly lit it up since returning, and losing Rice was obviously the biggest issue which was never resolved.

 

But I look at their receiver group a little like ours. Trading for Hopkins and getting Brown back moved guys closer to their natural spots much like trading for Cooper and getting Shakir/Kincaid/Coleman healthy helped get our guys back to roles more suited to talents (see Mack Hollins). It's less about one guy than a functioning offense. 

 

I look at someone like Worthy. He's not much more than a (dangerous) gadget guy at this stage. He had to be a bigger part of their season due to injuries and wasn't good but now he's back in a role where he can hurt us. 

 

I still like our chances but some posters seemed a little overly confident about the likelihood of us holding down their O despite the history and all our injuries on D, hence my post.

I get it and like it! Both the TV show (still stands the test of time ) and this tweet. Someone said it is not from the real William Davis but I think it is
