Logic Posted Friday at 04:33 PM Posted Friday at 04:33 PM Benford going into the weekend still limited and being listed as Questionable for the game was EXPECTED. He wasn't going to magically clear protocol today and come off the injury report. All indications are that he's in stage 4 of concussion protocol, and presuming there are no setbacks, I am cautiously optimistic that he will clear protocol and be active on Sunday. Milano and Taron appear to be good to go, which is ENORMOUS news. We may only be missing Taylor Rapp for this game. And while that's obviously not ideal, let's not forget that the Chiefs are missing their best wide receiver, Rashee Rice. Of those two players being out, I'd list Rice's absence as the biggest factor by far. So yes, it's frustrating that we'll be missing our starting SS. I'm sure the Chiefs are frustrated that they won't have their WR1. Injuries are a part of the NFL, and being down only potentially ONE player in the AFCCG counts as a health win overall, IMO. 7 1 1 Quote

Starting corners in the 13 seconds game which was blown entirely on a coaching blunder and unlucky coin toss were Dane Jackson and Levi Wallace against the peak chiefs offense imo Edited Friday at 04:50 PM by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 1 Quote

I didn’t catch the reason why he won’t be at practice. Milano and Taron will be full go at practice. So, Rapp out and Benford possibly out so we have to rely on Bishop and who? JaMarcus Ingram or Kaiir Elam this week? It was fun while it lasted 1 2 2 Quote
RichRiderBills Posted Friday at 04:35 PM Posted Friday at 04:35 PM Given our injury situation and how it looked after last week, I'm convinced the Chiefs are going to take healthy amount of deep shots and still try to run the ball. I think that will be the core of their game plan. On D they are going to sell out to stop the run and contain Allen. That's the game plan. Quote

I agree 100%. Benford should play. Let's hope he does. If only missing Rapp we are in good shape. It all comes down to our D line playing like brawlers vs their O line which is shaky. We will pound these tools on Sunday!!! GO BILLS!!! Quote

SCBills Posted Friday at 04:39 PM Posted Friday at 04:39 PM Would be absolutely shocked if Benford can’t go. Hed be limited today if he practiced. His missing practice is a personal reason, not seemingly related to the concussion. Hes on “postseason” schedule to clear by Sunday. Rapp is a loss, but what a story it will be if we look back and realize the reason Micah Hyde was brought in was for moments like this on a Super Bowl run.. not to be out there, but to be the mentor to a Cole Bishop when he needs to step out into the coliseum as a rookie and play the game of his season. 2 1 1 Quote
stevewin Posted Friday at 04:40 PM Posted Friday at 04:40 PM Taron will play - but the shoulder will still be concerning. It could affect his play and very possible to aggravate it - even just reaching out with an arm. He's gutted it out before, but sometimes there's a limit Quote

I don't think them missing Rashee Rice means anything. They have been missing him all season and it hasn't changed anything. The Chiefs are fully healthy for this game. They shouldn't be missing anyone Quote

Me also...unless he has a bad setback, he is in stage 4 of the protocol and it's just procedural. Quote

Personally, I think they will plan to run as much as they have all year. I think the more KC takes deep shots at the expense of short to immediate passes it will cost them the game. KC, however, is pretty dang good at making in-game adjustments, taking what a defense gives them. Regarding Mahome's ability to go deep, it will probably depend on the pressure we can get on him, mostly rushing 4. Quote

I went looking but couldnt find any articles (I think Cover 1 videos have mentioned our efficiency). I was under the impression we are efficient when we blitz, but we choose not to. No data, just the eye test. For additional support to that opinion, our LBers, Safeties and CBs have 5.5 combined sacks this year. That has to be near the bottom of the league. That doesn’t take into consideration pressures or blitz rate. Quote
