I want to see more quality football games. you do not see quality football games when KC plays for various reasons. Sensei, please let me know what plaza your Dojo is in, and whether there is a taco place next door so I can grab lunch. 👍 Edited 3 hours ago by dollars 2 donuts 1 1 Quote

I agree to some extent but their last two Super Bowls over the 49ers and Eagles have been pretty good-competitive games till the end. I know I'm in the minority, but I'm OK with playing at Arrowhead for this AFC Championship. We just squeaked out of that Ravens game alive and I feel like the Bills 10-game home winning streak had an expiration date and it was coming up. Now the guys can bond together and use the "us against the world" attitude on the road, in a place they KNOW they can win. If the D can just dig deep and cover some dudes, they can do this. Quote
Low Positive Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I wish we were the first game. Arrowhead at night is intimidating. Quote

I have vague memories from the year before. But I'm 38 now. A 31 year gap is big enough. Let's do this same here man (except I’m turning 38 in a few months). The first season I really followed the Bills and actually kept track of their record and such was 1994… FML 🫠😂 Quote

We have to hope Dawkins is back at practice - at least limited. If Rapp manages a Limited, my confidence goes up. 1 Quote
Beck Water Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) 1 hour ago, boyst said: i'm amazed at how this works. i'm amazed at a lot of things. but i will start with this: why don't teams hire former players or specialty type players as "coaches" to do the left footed punts? now, i'm sure these guys were probably given some Bills gear and a few bucks but it was probably held as a "try-out." organizations need to hire guys as coaches to practice with the team as an adjunct kind of player - in a pinch these guys are thrown on the PS and used in a game. You could get specialty guys groomed up this way quite effectively I'm pretty sure the NFL has rules about the circumstances where coaches can be put on the practice squad or rostered as players, to prevent teams from doing just what you say. Nothing stops teams from hiring former players as assistant coaches or having them fill roles as players during practices, but I don't think it's so easy as "in a pinch throw on the PS and used in a game". For the punters the Bills had in, they may be hoping for a reserve/futures contract. Being brought in for the Bills and having a good try out not only might give them such a contract here, but would give their agents good "buzz" to get them other looks around the league. I don't know what the rules are on paying players to try out. They certainly cover their travel and lodging and meals and give them a per-diem, but if I'm sitting on the sofa and want to break into or stay in the NFL, that's all the motivation I need to get on a plane. Just like Buffalo, the fans start early on the drinking and by night-time many of them are too boozed up to make as much of a hollering. Quote
Straight Hucklebuck Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Looking at the KC weather - one day later its 40 and 50 degrees there during the day. Still - low 30's/high 20's and clear is going to be fine. 24 minutes ago, The Firebaugh Kid said: Any idea when the injury report comes out today? Practice is usually around 1:00 PM, so you'll start seeing the Twitter reports from practice from Capaccio, Brasky, Parrino, Buscaglia. If Rapp is out there at all we'll know about it. And hopefully Dawkins was a precaution. He sounded and played fine in his mic'd up Ravens. 1 Quote

Simple as that... Baltimore's starters on O & D are graded by PFF higher than either the Bills or the Chiefs. Ravens 72.6 Chiefs 69.8 Bills 69.1 average for their 22 O& D starters. Lamar + Henry are graded #1 at their position. Bills O-Line gets little respect for their league best performance in avoiding sacks. BTW Chiefs have given up 43 sacks to 14 for the Bills. 1 Quote

That has happened to me in the past. And it's kinda nice (compared to where I'm at right now). But in my experience, it is just prolonging the inevitable because as soon as the kickoff and the game are officially underway, those nervous feelings hit like a tidal wave. 1 Quote

I can still tell people the scores to some of those games without even looking it up because I was so embedded in them by then. I've been hooked ever since that season opener against the Patriots that season 1 Quote
yall Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Does anyone here have access to the Buffalo News? Evidently there is an article about people traveling to Kansas City and Labatt USA offering ride share vouchers, but I'm unable to see the details. Quote
