Johnson is fine according to McDermott and came back in and looked fine. 

 

Benford is in concussion protocol but Im pretty sure that's precautionary. He was scene after the game and seemed fine/ lucid. 

 

Rapp is day to day but I think he'll get a toradol to shot and tough it out. I'm pretty sure it's a hip contusion or hip pointer. 

 

I have full confidence in Bishop and Elam tho.

He ruined his legacy. He would’ve been a celebrity in Western NY until the end of time. The Minnesota Miracle was awesome, but more of the CB making a huge gaff other than some insane catch. He really didn’t pick it up production-wise until he came here. Him and Allen were the best QB-WR duo in football, but somehow that wasn’t good enough. It’s one of the weirdest things ever. He was in a PERFECT situation. I don’t get it either, but he will never reach those heights in Houston. I doubt he cracks 1000 yards ever again.

Exactly. If everything was fine and he was here now and helped us win the super bowl his legacy would've been incredible. 

 

We'll never know what happened but obviously it got toxic. 

 

In 2020 I really thought he was going to be here until his mid 30s and age into a number 2 role. None of it made any sense

I actually seen an article on MSN about it today. Wouldn't be surprised if either the Ravens or KC mentioned it to the league or something to pay attention to. Just weird to see an article about it when pretty much no one has really talked about it that I have seen.

He clearly didn't think it was a PERFECT situation for him here.

I think the same thing happened in Buffalo that had already happened in Minnesota: Diggs didn't want to be a part of a run-heavy (or even balanced) offense, especially when there was a WR1B (Thielen) competing for the reduced target share. Pretty sure he's been open about that shift in philosophy he didn't agree with. Might have coincided with Stefanski leaving for Cleveland?

 

Similarly, once Daboll left Buffalo, Diggs understood that there was no more shield against McDermott's vision for physical, mistake-free, complimentary football. You know, WRs blocking in the run game. Unselfish football. Again, he knew he didn't fit with the HC's (new OC's) vision. (Might have also witnessed the worst stretch of Josh Allen's career, on and off the field, and decided the kid was too distracted and immature to turn it around.) 

 

Nice to see how wrong Diggs was about the Bills and about Allen.

Lest we forget - Bills have $31M in dead cap space because of Diggs the whiner.  Imagine who we could have on this team for that $!!!

You and I and everyone else can find the notion of needing extra motivation in such a big game silly. But we saw, and had it confirmed by multiple players, how impactful the media all picking the Ravens, the Jerry Coleman comments, etc was for the Bills players. Allen mentioned it right after the game. Just about every pro athlete is motivated by perceived disrespect, and our team seems ESPECIALLY motivated by it. They THRIVE as underdogs. You and I can think that's silly, but that's the reality.

Meanwhile, you have Andy Reid saying to the press yesterday "I presume the Bills will be favored, but that's okay, we'll do what we do". He's already planting the seeds in his players' minds that THEY'RE the underdogs. Nevermind that they were a one loss one-seed. I GUARANTEE that they'll be painting themselves as the underdogs all week in their locker room. 

 

So I hope the media doubts the Bills loudly and repeatedly all week, harps on how Josh CAN'T beat Mahomes in the playoffs, etc. 

The Bills need to find their chip for this week.

The way to slow Mahomes is to drop as many defenders into coverage as possible while still getting some pressure on him.  When he’s struggled, it’s almost always been when teams dropped 8 and his receivers still couldn’t get open.

I bet Mahomes would crumble if he had to face Spags pressure year in year out.  
 

you said it- Spags is the goat at designing exotic blitzes-  another advantage Mahomes has over others.  He doesn’t have to face him every year in the playoffs.  
 

He brought Mahomes to yet another AFCCG with his pressure systems last week

I would respectfully disagree - I think a lot of people in every walk of life are motivated by being disrespected (whether real or perceived). I know i had my share of “disrespect” thrown at me when I was younger and used it as a primary motivation to achieve where I am today.

 

One term I’ve heard about the Bills is “perceived” disrespect - this is 100% false.  The Bills have been and continue to be disrespected this season by all sorts of media types.
