Bills blitzed/spyed Mahomes and played way more man against them in the previous match up, and it worked good for the most part. In an ideal world, you get pressure with 4 of course. I just don't think Bills can just sit back and rush 4 though- As Mahomes will have all day and will pick them apart Quote

Simulated pressures, to help get some of our guys into 1-1s, or mixing in some zone blitzes/forcing Mahomes a direction in pocket with a spy, is what I expect. McD has seemed to of found something with our 3-2-6 looks on 3rd down and obvious pass. Quote

Is Watson all the way back? This game we have Coleman and Kincaid. I can see some jump balls to Coleman, but Coleman needs to be coached to read Spagnuolo's def4ense to adjust routes accordingly. Not sure Josh trusts him 100% in those situations. Kincaid maybe a key factor. He has the ability to open quickly but timing wise is not really there - I mean getting open at the right time depending on if he's 1st or 2nd or 3rd options etc. 1 Quote

Expand The O-line is our strongest unit (RB's are close). I feel like I have to go back to the '90s for a line that was at their level. PoundingDog Posted January 22 Posted January 22 The best approach remains to find ways to run/pass involving Cook, Davis, Johnson, using the steady strength of our O-line. I mentioned the trio combined for 50 yard rushing on Nov 17. And Cook had 5 receptions for a total of 7 yards. There seems to have a lot of room to improve there. 1 Quote

If we’re going to get to the big game, it has to be through Mahomes and Reid at Arrowhead? Ive always felt this version of KC is an excellent road team. Maybe even better on the road than home. Can't say that I blame them - I'm sure they heard it from the fans in the front rows all game. But man, do I want to see the reverse of that in KC this year. Expand It’s not the same going the other way, though. The Chiefs live and die with the blitz. Spagnuolo is the GOAT at designing exotic blitzes from any position on the field. Kansas City can and will blitz early and often. If he can help it, McDermott won’t blitz at all because Mahomes thrives against them. The way to slow Mahomes is to drop as many defenders into coverage as possible while still getting some pressure on him. When he’s struggled, it’s almost always been when teams dropped 8 and his receivers still couldn’t get open. Quote

Expand Would feel much better if it was in orchard park- As the chiefs are extremely tough to beat in arrowhead, and the bills don't have a road playoff win in the McDermott era. But it's still a winnable game. And if the bills play their A game, they are heading to New Orleans 1 Quote
