He's 30 and should have 2-3 left in him easy. Brady has not adopted to Cooper in the O like his play book has zero adjustment.

He also wasn’t doing anything in Cleveland and Jeudy went OFF this year after they got rid of Cooper.  I think they made an effort to get a guy and he might be contributing to the meeting room a lot, but in the field, he’s not what he was.

With Winston at QB. Jerry did jack ***** before him.

How does Cooper do with him?

I can't tell as we design zero plays at him.  Nice post though. You bring up Jerry and Cooper when playing together but forget to mention the major QB change and how Jerry basically got all his=s yards this year with Winston after Cooper left.

Or he can’t get open… he had 24 catches in Cleveland and only 20 here, he’s not an impact player anymore.  I don’t know why it’s hard for people to see/admit.   I’ll admit, I wanted D-hop instead and he’s been nothing special either.  Diggs fell off a cliff at 30, yet nobody wants to believe that could be it w Cooper.  He’s been here over half a season and his competition for snaps is Mack Hollins and a raw rookie, neither of which are doing anything to stop a real WR from taking their job.. he’s just not doing it.

might be time to admit father time may have caught him

I just don't think our offense is meant for a main guy. Josh spreads it all over the place. Plus, for whatever reason, we called a really conservative game plan offensively. He had 14 targets against the Rams just a few weeks ago. He can again.

You're wrong but keep this thought. Cooper is a 50/50 guy like Coleman with Speed, throw him the ball and lets see what we have. Until some plays are actually schemed that way I'm not going to say father time BS.

Cooper isn’t the blocker Shakir, Coleman and Hollins are and I think it limits his role in this offense when we are running a game plan like we did when we are looking to move chains and chew clock knowing the weather and opponent are going to make it difficult throw down field.  Same for Samuel as well.

He is on his fourth team for a reason. He dissapears often and isn't always the most motivated player.

WR is a need in the offseason.

Yes and no.

Aside from Hollins (who I fully expect them to re-sign) the WR room is all under contract.

Coleman

Samuel

Hollins

Shakir

Whoever they bring in will be competing for 25-30% snap share. I don’t think they’re dying for one, but it is definitely on the radar in the first 60 picks

Eagles have AJ Brown

Washington has Scary Terry

KC has #87

We need that guy who can get open consistently. A stud receiver. Too many times I saw guys not getting seperation.

I told people about Amari Cooper when we discussed WR trades

Imagine if we had Davante instead

Cooper has only had 1K season 2X on all 3 teams he has played for in turmoil. The guy sucks............

I hear you. I just don’t know where you’re getting a guy like that…they don’t really hit FA anymore and when they do, it is out of our range.…we just took a swing at one with pick 33. Hopefully we take another hack at it in those first 60.

I think getting DL help in the draft will get better ROI especially early on.

the worry is we’ve seen other guys come in mid season and get zero packages. Hines for instance.

I know a different coordinator but it’s a little curious that we aren’t designing anything for a guy again and he’s getting very limited snaps.

Is Coleman starting and playing a lot because of this blocking?  He doesn't seem to be making plays at WR (other than getting a questionable PI call tonight), and I would think that having Cooper in there would make a difference.
