Where is Amari Cooper ??

Idk since day 1 something seemed off to me with him. I know he’s a quiet guy but maybe something is actually off. He missed practice time for personal reasons, maybe its an issue outside of football. Maybe coach thinks he’s not in the better mental spot than the players out there. Again all maybes I actually have no idea. That would be my guess though.

I hope Brady gets asked about it this week.

 

Last week he played 39% of snaps, this week it was down to 34%. 
 

After that first attempt to Hollins tonight it felt like the Bills stopped trying anything on the outside (Coleman did have the PI).

We've been saying this for 2 months?  Either Brady refuses to scheme him or there's a problem with him and the coaches. It's kinda hard for Josh to establish chemistry with a guy we never target?  I'm afraid this has become a wasted 3rd.

On the 3rd and 8 deep middle ball to Shakir on the first drive, Cooper was running a corner route and he pulled the safety to him which opened up Shakir down the middle.

There was another play I think to Samuel where he drew double coverage from the safety and corner that left the underneath man wide open. 

 

My tin foil hat says this is McDermott giving the middle finger to Beane in a power move to show who is boss.  Go back to the first PC after the trade and McDermott didn't seem happy about it all.  defended the guys that were already there.

 

Brady called a brutal game.  I just can't imagine why they would not take shots with Cooper against either of their outside corners.  Cooper has made some of the best catches of the season.  They really need to get him going more.

While he hasn't had a ton of usage; his presence still draws defenders to him when he's out there which is certainly a positive.

Not really a Cooper issue..Coleman Samuel Kincaid Cooper combined 4 catches for 25 yards. 

 

Passing game as a whole was a huge disappointment yesterday. Needs to be better next week.

I wish I could remember who the poster was, who said that the reason Cooper was not targeted the last couple of meaningful regular season games, was he was going to be the playoff secret weapon. 😂

He’s not a good blocker in the run game so it limits his usage. The trade was good in theory but I don’t see him back next year. WR definitely still a need on this team.

If the reason Cooper is not seeing the field is his lack of blocking, then once again, the GM and the coaches are not on the same page.   He is by far their most talented WR, and unless there is some other issue with him, he is being wasted.

Everybody eats.  The ball goes to the open guy.  We’re running the ball well and scoring a ton of points.  What will it take for folks to accept this?

 

I heard this morning that the Broncos and Ravens were first and second ranked run defenses and each had their worst games against the Bills.  While I thought the first two drives of the second half could have been more aggressive, it is abundantly clear Brady’s offense works.  We won yesterday without Josh having to be a hero.  Celebrate that instead of complaining.

Yeah and I don’t know who is in a rhythm  heading into this game.

 

Shakir is the only stable target. Kincaid is an afterthought in this offense, Samuel is probably the next WR up now? 
 

I just have no idea on where Cooper is or what Coleman is past a random jump-baller.

Diggs wasn't a great blocker but they still managed to involve him in the game at some point 🤷

My vote is not to re-sign him. We’re winning without him. Draft another WR. 
 

I think he only had one target last night and acted surprised the ball was thrown his way.
