It appears that Shawn Smith is going to be the referee for the Super Bowl this year. I am trying to find out who the refs for the Title games will be this week. I have noticed that Hochuli hasn't officiated yet so maybe he wasn't graded high enough this year but worst case scenario he's the official for our game. I thought the refs come from the pool of WC refs though but I can't confirm that.

Let’s be honest,  if Joe Brady calls another conservative game like tonight the line should be Chiefs +8.

So you think a conservative game plan by the bills increases their odds from bills +1.5 to bills -8? Interesting. I can't say I agree.... if the bills are conservative again the chiefs will make them pay. I don't see them making the same mistakes.

I told my son during the game,   they are literally kansas City Chief’ing their way to the AFC title game.  Tough Running game, Oline, no turnovers, limit the penalties, get takeaway, make your kicks.  that’s their recipe right now.  That’s how KC wins every week. but Allen will need to outplay Mahomes next week, he will need a couple special plays beyond anything Pat does.

Alright based on my sleuthing on officials, there are 4 officials who are eligible to be the referee for our game against the Chiefs. WC refs tend not to do a 2nd game and divisional round referees are eligible for the Super Bowl which already are having reports that Shawn Smith will be the Super Bowl referee with Carl Cheffers as the alternate for the Super Bowl.

That leaves 4 referees who meet the minimum criteria. Shawn Hochuli, Clete Blakeman, Adrian Hill, and Scott Novak. I would suspect that Adrian Hill will not be our referee considering he graduated from the University at Buffalo. Novak has the least amount of experience out of the 4 tied with Hill. That means it is likely that Hochuli and Blakeman get assigned the AFC and NFC Championship games.

Hochuli officiated the Bills/Chiefs Divisional game last year so not sure if the NFL would repeat that assignement as last year so my prediction is we end up with Clete Blakeman as the official for this game who has actually been a very fair referee when it has come to both Bills and Chiefs games over the years. He would be a best case scenario in my opinion.

Can’t be conservative next week and let KC hang around. Recipe for disaster if Bills defense can’t force any turnovers. Offense needs to play much better next week and be ready for what Spags is going throw at them.

The KC board is clowning the Bills.  They think it’s gonna be an easy win and our D will get shredded by Kelce, Worthy, Hollywood, DHop, Pacheco, etc.  They honestly don’t think it will be a competitive game.

Right…they just weren’t trying when they had an undefeated season on the line last time we met lol

bills d matches up pretty well against kc

My cowboys fan friend who likes to mess with me and usually just says the opposite of what I do just to rile me up has been very vocal about mahomes/chiefs  getting all the calls this year 😂. That’s how you know it’s bad

Not sure where you’re seeing this. I have seen a lot of overconfident Bills fans though.

Baltimore’s ability to stop the run puts more stress on our offense.  We put 6 OL out there a lot and they still were able to stop us multiple times.  We also throw out of that formation too.

I think we can run on KC.

That's true, however, from what i've seen all season is that Cook is the guy you want bouncing outside while Davis should be our straight-ahead downfield runner, so why in the world we're trying to run Cook up the gut on these play calls is friggin astounding.

Yes, it works sometimes, however, the majority of the times, Cook is getting his yards on the edge and Davis chews up the middle yardage and if i've noticed it, chances are that NFL teams are watching it and making adjustments to suit.

.........and Ty, well that dude is just a freak who can just about be put anywhere.

I think that line is fair. Chiefs didn't have Pacheco last time, and were missing some DBs. Should be a close, good game.

My hot take is that hunt has been better than pacheco since pacheco came back.  Him being back actually hurts kc imo , because they feel forced to get him involved.  It just seems like he's lost a step since his injury.  I don't think he'll ever be the same.

Looks like a legal play to me? Contact within 5 yards is allowed, no?
