Give him his flowers. He outplayed Josh in the biggest game of the season and lost.

Yeah, if you ignore the two terrible turnovers 😂

I don’t think he outplayed Josh specifically due to the two turnovers.  What I will say is his offensive coordinator treated him like the MVP of the league and it’s what allowed them to almost make the comeback.  Our offensive coordinator did not treat Josh like the MVP and it showed.

He will win a superbowl or 2.  Hall of fame, for sure.

Quite a few top QBs have NOT won a SuperBowl. I certainly not want Josh to be on that list!

Lamar? Meh. I'm not rooting for the Ravens

These national idiots that voted Lamar MVP are gonna look like ***** dip ***** when Allen is holding the Lombardi

That would be the best revenge of all. Then he can wear his SB ring on his middle finger.

He didn't outplay Josh.  He had 2 turnovers.  Get your head out of the stat sheet & pay attention to the game on the field.

I’ve been holding onto this all season.  But I like Lamar.  I love the way he plays.  I don’t think he should have won the MVP last year and don’t think he should this year.  I also don’t think he’s on the same tier as Josh (and Pat).  But he seems like a cool dude and unfortunately due to circumstances Ravens/Bills fans are forced to fight.

Even his quote from the other day saying he isn’t friends with QBs he wants to win (I kinda want my QB to have that old school mentality).  Sucks that the playoff choker narrative will stick to him.  But I’d rather it be on him than Josh.

Hats off to the Ravens, I’ve been confident, but their run game has scared me all week.

Go Bills

Did you really think “Lamar is a good player but not as good as Josh” is an unpopular opinion on TBD?

Agree!  I thought their secondary was weak but we didn’t exploit. We kept running into a wall of a DL?!??  I guess it worked.

Lamar definitely didn’t lose the game, but he didn’t help win it either. That pick was a boneheaded throw and that fumble the ball wasn’t even punched out. He clawed his way back though

Yeah, I didn't understand what the plan was in the 2nd half, or I guess the lack of adjustment, they figured out our run game to a degree so change it up somehow, but in the mean time let Josh be ***** Josh.

I think due to the MVP race and the medias attempt to make it bills vs ravens fans for the last 5-8 weeks I think generally speaking there is a lot of hatred for lamar and certainly a downplaying of his skills to lessen his credibility as the MVP.  I think if Lamar won the game the board would have been filled with “how did we lose to a RB at QB posts”.

So yeah I do think it doesn’t jive with the majority of opinions.

I think Lamar is an elite nfl weapon

I think Lamar is a very good player at the qb position. Puts it together non traditionally but easily a top 5 guy.

I hate how Lamar has become symbolic of a bit of an unspoken cultural battle. He’s such a fun player but near impossible to talk about his play because there’s so much more attached to the conversation for a lot of people on both sides ((note not just saying race here but also new school vs old school, etc… too))
