I don’t think he should have won the MVP last year and don’t think he should this year. I also don’t think he’s on the same tier as Josh (and Pat). But he seems like a cool dude and unfortunately due to circumstances Ravens/Bills fans are forced to fight. Even his quote from the other day saying he isn’t friends with QBs he wants to win (I kinda want my QB to have that old school mentality). Sucks that the playoff choker narrative will stick to him. But I’d rather it be on him than Josh. Hats off to the Ravens, I’ve been confident, but their run game has scared me all week. Go Bills Agree with almost everything here, except I believe he's a worthy MVP this season and he's ascended to Josh and Patty levels. He was clutch all second half and he showed a lot of class after that tough loss. He's a winner in my book. 1 Quote

I think if Lamar won the game the board would have been filled with “how did we lose to a RB at QB posts”. So yeah I do think it doesn’t jive with the majority of opinions. I mean, we lost to the Ravens this season, and I saw exactly zero "how did we lose to an RB at QB" posts. I think your post was honestly probably the opinion of 80% if not more of the posters here. Sure there's some vocal dudes who hate him and denigrate it but most folks accept he's a really really good player, even if they prefer Josh. 2 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted yesterday at 03:11 AM Posted yesterday at 03:11 AM I kill this dude constantly. I might be the guy for bringing people back to earth on the Lamar ball washing. the guy is one of the best runners I have ever seen. Not a QB. Any position. He’s the closest thing to Barry sanders you’ll ever see. He’s pretty good at passes down the middle. He makes zero difficult throws. He doesn’t throw outside the numbers and he doesn’t hit guys in stride to catch and run. He’s not even in the same world as the top QBs. It’s Allen mahomes burrow…50 feet of drop off stafford and everyone else. Lamar Jackson is the only player in the league impervious from criticism and anyone in the media is basically Shanghai’d if they speak 1 negative sentence about him. It’s unlike anything I have ever seen. the 1 thing I wanna say is this guy impressed me a lot this week. He’s not a ***** talker, he’s not arrogant and he never once seemed to have misguided aspirations. He seemed very grounded in what was important and was very obviously more worried about winning a Super Bowl than the mvp. I respect that a lot and if I’m going to be a harsh critic of his shortcomings in the passing game. I’m going to recognize when he does something right. 1 Quote

shrader Posted yesterday at 03:18 AM Posted yesterday at 03:18 AM The second I saw him wearing that neck warmer thing, I knew the Bills were winning this game. 1 Quote
Don Otreply Posted yesterday at 03:18 AM Posted yesterday at 03:18 AM Lamar is a damn good QB on a damn good team. But I’m gonna talk trash about them every season, 😁👍🍸🚬 Think about this, Josh and Lamar were the two worst rated 1st round QB prospects in their draft class, now they are the top two of their draft class, our boy being #1, 1 Quote
HOUSE Posted yesterday at 03:21 AM Posted yesterday at 03:21 AM Lamar made 2 critical mistakes, Josh Allen didn't make any. Lamar Jackson wins my " He is a good guy" award Tua came in 2nd 1 2 Quote
PrimeTime101 Posted yesterday at 03:21 AM Posted yesterday at 03:21 AM MY personal opinion.. The dude was just at the podium.. and it was "WE" need to do this better "WE" cant be turning the ball over.. If That Was JA it would of been him taking accountability saying "I cant turn the ball over" "I did things I could of done differently" Lamar.. WE WE WE WE... JA I I I I Lamar has no accountability. Horrible look for Lamar.. the playoff choak artist.. .. 1 1 1 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted yesterday at 03:22 AM Posted yesterday at 03:22 AM I don’t like Baltimore but I respect the hell out of that organization for their ability to reload talent and be consistently good. Quote
KCNC Posted yesterday at 03:22 AM Posted yesterday at 03:22 AM I like Lamar but hate the other Ravens and especially their fans. Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted yesterday at 03:25 AM Posted yesterday at 03:25 AM For all the (unwarranted) noise from his "we're not friends" quote - he sure seemed pretty friendly... 1 Quote

Puts it together non traditionally but easily a top 5 guy. I hate how Lamar has become symbolic of a bit of an unspoken cultural battle. He’s such a fun player but near impossible to talk about his play because there’s so much more attached to the conversation for a lot of people on both sides ((note not just saying race here but also new school vs old school, etc… too)) What is remarkable is how much better he gets every year. In the last 3 years he has done amazing things to correct his flaws. It's amazing. 1 Quote
Andy1 Posted yesterday at 03:28 AM Posted yesterday at 03:28 AM Lamar is amazing. I don’t think he deserved the MVP last year, but that’s not his fault. He fits Baltimore. Josh fits Buffalo. I’m thrilled we have Josh. Josh has to deal with the small market anti media bias against him but F em all. The vote calling Josh the most overrated player was ridiculous. If we can win just one, the entire narrative will change. Quote
MikePJ76 Posted yesterday at 03:29 AM Posted yesterday at 03:29 AM Finally a week we don't have to talk about Lamar Jackson. but we have to talk about mahomes and reid. Quote
HappyDays Posted yesterday at 03:30 AM Posted yesterday at 03:30 AM In general this game was not the MVP showdown it was advertised as. Lamar made two massive unforced errors, and Joe Brady inexplicably decided to take the game out of Josh's hands for the most part. So really the game ultimately came down to mistakes. They made a bunch, we made none. The pregame narrative meant nothing. Quote

Go Bills I’m higher on Lamar and think he really has made some good strides as a passer this season - especially as a runner which gives him a really unique dynamic. But I’m with you. He was MVP last season by default given Baltimore’s record and #1 seed. This season he flat out didn’t deserve it over Josh and while he played a very good second half of football, his first half is part of the reason why Baltimore was playing from behind. The whole “playoff choker” title really isn’t it fair but it was always going to happen to the team that lost this game. Quote

By committing 2 turnovers? Which will be overlooked bc of the Mark Andrews drop. How many turnovers did Josh Allen have ? Quote
